I started playing magic the gathering during the Theros Bock and fell in love with the god theme. During the time I played standard then quit before Khans. However before I quit I made sure to have collected every Theros god :).Now I have returned and play exclusively commander, but missed the Theros theme, so decided to make a god themed EDH deck (in addition helps my GOD complex, and hope that one day they will release a roman themed expansion and return to these gods again bringing finally a 5 color one.)

The deck started with all the gods from Amonkhept and Theros with a much more tribal theme, but slowly shifted now to a more enchantment themed deck that incorporate that gods using them as a win con. The deck tried to shift towards using the least colors possible to simplify the mana base, and make the deck feel more of a 2 color deck with 3 off colors. The purpose of this deck is to remain fun to play as and against, so does have any infinites, or "unfair" mechanics (except door to nothingness because thats hilarious imo). The hopes of this deck is that it can be played at a more intense casual setting with play groups, and homely being able to take a game or two.

FAQ:

Why so few board wipes gods are indestructible? True gods are mostly indestructible, and in this deck they all are, but many non indestructible creatures are run as well to help with card draw and activating the gods. This means that you will n ever wipe the board when ahead since this is a creature themed deck, and so why not take advantage of enchantments in the deck to dissuade opponents from attacking you instead to fit synergy and avoid people hating you.

Why auratog and faith healer? Merciless Eviction and other exile sources are the only way to set this deck behind. Sending enchantments to your graveyard is fine due to running stuff like replenish, so these cards help "save" your gods and enchantments from exile mainly.
