Zimone and Dina - Cantrips (Good Stuff)

The custom categories are not perfect as many cards could fit in multiple spots, but that is also the point as many cards share multiple subthemes. I put cards into their category based on what I intend their main use to be. Like Cerulean Wisps is totally and cantrip and was select for this reason, but I will use it as an untap for Zimone and Dina.

I Really wanted a cantrips commander and Sultai is my favorite color combo. I wanted to stay as close to the cantrips theme as possible, while still playing into Zimone and Dina's text. Subthemes include landfall/lands matter, recursion, self mill, and tokens. All being themes that I enjoy playing. The deck is a first draft as of now, will be playtesting and editing as I continue to enjoy it.

Aiming for power level 3, I don't want a ton of hard removal that doesn't specifically fit theme, i.e. draw like Remand and Kenrith's Transformation. I also don't want to be completely competitively optimized, so Jace, Wielder of Mysteries is over Thassa's OracleGC, etc. Game Changers reserved for core themes, not pure power, so Field of the DeadGC and Crop RotationGC seem the most fitting.

Core idea here is draw through the deck efficiently, drop lands quickly, have enough interaction to stall big swing turns (without being a meanie head) and win through Jace, Wielder of Mysteries or a large card:Villanious wealth. The most common way we can win is through Field of the DeadGC + Scapeshift, Splendid Reclamation, or Aftermath Analyst. Dark Depths and or tokens from Scute Swarm/Chasm Skulker can also help win if given enough time. Again this deck is meant to be a fun deck to play in a pod, but not to dominate and make the game unfun for others while still attempting to win and have power.

Lots of cards in the maybeboard could totally be ran over current options based on personal preference or the specific pod you are in. I am including all cards I come across that would also increase the power level of the deck into the maybeboard like better removal, Pongify, mana ramp, Dark Ritual, etc. I leaned more toward total deck synergy between all subthemes, so some cards that I really wanted like Gaea's Blessing were left out for anti-synergy purposes. I also feel like Solemn Simulacrum and Tatyova, Benthic Druid need to be included, but as of now I have no slots for them. Suggestions are highly encouraged so please let me know what you think.
