COMMANDER MILL DECK

This decks focus on infinite combos to mill your opponents into oblivion, it really shines in 1 vs 1 but it's also strong in groups of 3/4 people. This deck is still being improved and suggestions are appreciated.

The objective of the deck is to tutor your combo pieces until you can make a infinite combo to win, it also has some minor mill mechanics to fill yours and your opponents graveyards to synergize with cards like Treasure Cruise, Visions of Beyond, Into the Story, etc..

Grand Architect + Pili-Pala

(Combo Link: Grand Architect + Pili-Pala )

Total Cost:

This is a really powerfull combo, with only 2 cards you can generate infinite mana of any color! to do that play Grand Architect first, tap it for and use that for playing the Pili-Pala, after that you need to pay to make Pili-Pala a blue card, then you can tap it for mana and use that mana to it and gain a mana of any color, then just repeat.

Cabal Coffers + Deserted Temple + Rings of Brighthearth + (3xSwamp or Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth)

(Combo Link: Cabal Coffers + Deserted Temple + Rings of Brighthearth )

Total Cost:

This combo is a litle difficult to pull because you need at least 3 Swamps and this deck doesn't have a lot of them, or you can just use Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, the ideia is to use Cabal Coffers to win at least 3 mana, then you use Deserted Temple to untap Cabal Coffers and Rings of Brighthearth to copy that ability. Then after the ability of Deserted Temple resolves but before the ability of Rings of Brighthearth resolves, you tap Cabal Coffers again, and copy the ability of Rings of Brighthearth in stack again, you can do it infinitely and have a of profit of each time you do it.

Basalt Monolith + Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal

(Combo Link: Basalt Monolith + Dramatic Reversal + Isochron Scepter )

Total Cost:

This Combo only produces infinte but if you have any mana rock (Arcane Signet Dimir Signet Fellwar Stone)* in the battlefield it can also produce mana of any color you need. The setup is simple, play Basalt Monolith, tap it for , then play Isochron Scepter and imprint Dramatic Reversal in it, than you pay to activate Isochron Scepter and it will untap all your nonland permanents which include the card itself and Basalt Monolith, than tap card:Basalth Monolith again followed by Isochron Scepter for the infinite combo.

* You can also use Talisman of Dominance but be carefull has it will deal 1 damage to you every time you use it.

Deadeye Navigator + Peregrine Drake + at least 3 lands

(Combo Link: Deadeye Navigator + Peregrine Drake )

Total Cost: *

This combo also produce infinite mana of any color. Start by playing Peregrine Drake and try to pay only with lands to get the maximum profit, then play Deadeye Navigator to soulbond with Peregrine Drake, after that you can pay to bounce Peregrine Drake wich will each bounce untap up to 5 of yours lands. If you have more than 3 mana that can be generated by tapping lands and one of wich is , you have infinite mana.

* Thanks to Peregrine Drake the combo cost can be reduced to (maybe even more if lands like Cabal Coffers are used)

Oona, Queen of the Fae + any infinite mana combo

This is the most versatile combos of the deck because of the great number of cards that can be used. You just need an infinite mana combo, play the Oona, Queen of the Fae and then activate her ability and GG.

Ghoulcaller's Bell + Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal + (Basalt Monolith or Sol Ring or 2 mana rocks)

(Combo Link: Dramatic Reversal + Ghoulcaller's Bell + Isochron Scepter )

Total Cost:

This is equal to the infite mana generating combo but with the addition of Ghoulcaller's Bell to mill everyone (including you), than you just pass the turn and see each of your opponents lose the game and when your turn comes everyone already lost so you win in spite of having no cards. Because we don't need to generate mana the Basalt Monolith isn't mandatory and can be replaced with Sol Ring or any other combination of nonlands that can generate at least .

Grindstone + Painter's Servant

(Combo Link: Grindstone + Painter's Servant )

Total Cost: + per extra opponent

This combo is extremely easy to pull off because you only need 2 cards. Painter's Servant makes all cards (including lands) have one more color at your choice and since Grindstone will mill as long as the two cards share a color, this will always happen until your opponent has no cards left. The downside is that you need to tap the artifact so you can only kill 1 opponent per turn unless you can use Dramatic Reversal or something similar.

Grindstone + Painter's Servant + Rings of Brighthearth

(Combo Link: Grindstone + Painter's Servant + Rings of Brighthearth )

Total Cost: + per extra opponent

Exactly the same combo as above but with the addition of Rings of Brighthearth making it more expensive and difficult to pull off but with the potencial of targeting all of your opponents and win the game in one turn by copying the Grindstone effect with Rings of Brighthearth.

Fraying Sanity + Traumatize

(Combo Link: Fraying Sanity + Traumatize )

Total Cost:

This combo can only kill one opponent but will do so very early in the game with some good luck draws, you enchant the target player with Fraying Sanity and then cast Traumatize if their library has an odd number of cards they will have a card left instead of losing instantly and knowing they will probably lose next turn all of their wraith will be directed at you so be aware of that.

Increasing Confusion + any infinite mana combo

A super simple and straightforward combo, with enough mana you can make an opponent mill all of his or her cards and then flashback Increasing Confusion and kill a second opponent.

Stream of Thought + any infinite color mana combo

Exactly the same combo as above but with a different card (Stream of Thought) making it more difficult to pull off because it can't be any infinite mana combo but will kill all of your opponents.

Halimar Excavator + Rite of Replication

(Combo Link: Halimar Excavator + Rite of Replication )

Total Cost:

Easy to pull off because you only need 2 cards but a little expensive and can only kill 1 opponent (2 if you already have milled them a little).

TLDR: There will be 30 triggers each milling 6 cards making a total of 180 cards milled don't ask why you don't wanna know, just accept it.

Explanation (trust me you don't wanna see it) Show

In my table the cards int the maybeboard are banned but if you want to add them to make the deck even better I would recommend the following trades but feel free to experiment with different cards and give some feedback.

Add Remove Explanation
Mana Drain Rune-Scarred Demon Rune-Scarred Demon is not that great because it is expensive and difficult to play and with Mana Drain you can not only counter but also ramp.
Cyclonic Rift Collective Restraint Collective Restraint needs a big setup because of working with basic land types and you don't have many, so if you can use Cyclonic Rift you can delay all of your opponents amd maybe gain 1 or 2 more turns to make your combos
Mana Crypt Dream Twist Dream Twist is good but not essential, and Mana Crypt is a huge boost to your mana
