Maybeboard

Hello! A little bit about my self, I am an fan and avid player of CEDH. I tend to like playing fringe decks and playtesting and optimizing them to the best they can be. I currently play Alesha Stax/Reanimator and Estrid Stax.
1. Enchantress style stax that can also utilize artifact stax pieces 2. Explosive opening hands that can disrupt the opponent instantly. 3. Like to see opponents misery. 4. Enjoy playing Teferi but want a different take on it. 5. Enjoy not having creatures. 6. Enjoy having hate for almost every deck.
1. Can go into top deck mode like any stax deck 2. Want to combo and win fast. 3. Like attacking or having creatures. 4. Hate long games. 5. Hate topdecking.
1. Rootmaze and Stasis lock and then proceed to one of the win con listed below. 2. Blue Sun Zenith yourself then utilizing its shuffle back into library effect and enchantress presence to draw blue sun zenith and precede to make your opponents draw their whole deck. 3. Beat down with tokens through Sigil of the Empty Throne and Night Soil while utilizing infinite The Chain Veil activation and Teferi, Temporal Archmage to untap the tokens while under the lock under win con 1.
Basic gameplan is to have 1-2 ramp pieces in starting hand i.e. rocks or land enchantments along with 2 lands and some stax pieces. If it is an explosive hand, then Windfall is also prefer to be in hand to refill. the goal of the deck is to establish control by preventing opponents from activating abilities, casting spells, taxing their spells, and getting free counters through the use of Counterbalance . Chain veil is in here primarily as a value engine, as an Estrid ult allows immense value in this deck even if it whiffs as Dance of the Manse can return BOTH artifact and enchantments from the grave.
Squeeze - It feels like a flex spot to me as the card feels dead a decent amount of times. Especially in mid to late game. If I were to take it out, I would probably replace it with some more draw power.

Windfall - while the card draw is extremely important. I do not own a Timetwister . The only thing I consider replacing this with is Echos of Eon's because even if its mill with Estrid's ult, it can be flashback. The normal casting cost of 6 cmc seems a bit steep but reaching that is relatively easy with land enchants and Estrid +2

Windfall , Echo of Eons , Time Spiral - The deck runs out of gas once you drop stax or rocks real quick so the wheels are needed to refill hand incase you dont draw into any of your draw enchantments or wincons and it also recycles any important pieces back into your deck. In the Eye of Chaos and Squeeze - These two provide a powerful tax on almost every competitive deck slowly down tutors, removal, and any possible wipes for our boards besides enchantment or artifact type ones. And if they cant play a counterspell or miscount, its a free counter. And if I can't play force of will for free, neither can they. Counterbalance - I made the choice to not play any counterbalance as it was to taxing on our own mana as we can consistently tutor for in the eye of chaos and recur it, so i opted for an enchantment based counter utilizing counterbalance with top to not only made them pay any type of stax but also made them weary whether or not it would even go through. Sphere of Resistance - A good early drop that dramatically slows down the game depending on turn order and stax well with in the eye of chaos but keep in mind it does not stack with trinisphere. Mirrormade - Can copy ANY artifact or enchantment so makes it even more valuable to copy any stax piece you want. Frozen AEther vs Kismet - devotion to blue as actually more important mid to late game with nykthos out for a lot of main pieces and wheel effects.......and it comes in foil. Tezzeret the Seeker - An artifact tutor that essentially avoids every stax piece we play except sphere of resistance and can put chain veil in play the same turn we play him. We can also copy his effect with rings of brighthearth to search for two stax pieces if you are behind if you wish.

Reasoning: 1. For the lands i ended up taking more damage from the land then i did from any other deck dealing as much as 12+ damage to myself including mana crypt flips. I opted for another rainbow land and another massive ramp land to make a masked token on it for more value and for combo turn. 2. Counterspells: I ended up not drawing counterspells when it was needed or when In the eye of chaos was out or it was out and copied and making it pretty much near impossible to cast with sphere of resistance and winter orb/stasis orb out. I opted for more wheels as the deck was lacking some draw power as it would run out of gas and as I am not willing to pay for a timetwister, these were the next best options. Echo of eons is essentially a double wheel with the chance of wheeling our wincons back into the deck if we mill it with estrid's ult. Increased tutor for consistency to finding answers for universal hate in the pod and wargate has the advantage of searching for any permanent. Whir was to risky as an instant because of the same reasoning as any counterspells with in the eye of chaos out. 3. Enchantments: I opted for more of a protection and mana ramp package and utility package with rings/key for planeswalker and mana rocks(3+rocks,veil). Karmic Justice helps makes it harder for any gbx deck to decide if they want to mass remove our enchantments if we have sterling groove with any copy enchants out as it would wipe their board too and would put practically back to square one. Sigil was cute but 5 mana for angels that didnt have enough impact fast enough was reason for cut. 4.Creatures: Gilded drake was just too dead in most of the game so it was cut for more draw power.
