Hapatra: -1/-1 Counter and Token Infestation

Commander / EDH BG (Golgari) Counters Tokens

This aims to mostly gain advantage by removing threats and generating its own tokens through -1/-1 counters. There are 2 infinite combos in this deck, one uses a token generator (Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons / Nest of Scarabs) an aristocrat (Zulaport Cutthroat / Blood Artist / Obelisk Spider), and Blowfly Infestation. The other involves one of the previously mention aristocrats, Devoted Druid, and Quillspike. I have tried to steer the deck to be more on the -1/-1 counter theme. I had mostly done this by removing the generically good green/black cards and add suboptimal cards that involve -1/-1 counters in some way. You can look at the cards that are being considered or have been included in the deck at some point under the appropriate accordion. Please feel free to leave your input.

Recent Edit I've made some changes to allow me to get the pieces that I use for my inifinite combo (mostly Blowfly Infestation) from the graveyard. Originally I was staying away from having too much recursion since this deck was originally more casual. However my playgroup have overtime improved the power of their decks over time so I decided to edit the deck to add more recursion and more infinite loops to be able to compete with their decks.

This Combo utilizes a token generator that triggers of -1/-1 counter placement, an aristocrat, and Blowfly Infestation to create infinite dies triggers and ping all the opponents down. This setup requires one permanent from each of the above categories, and ideally a 1/1 creature (there are other was to meet the initial trigger but I'll be focusing on this one). Step one add a -1/-1 counter to the 1/1 creature, the token generator makes a fresh 1/1, then we trigger our aristocrat and blowfly infestation. After draining our opponent(s) we are then able to place a -1/-1 counter on the fresh token and we are now back to the beginning, repeat until victory.

This combo uses a sacrifice outlet, a persist creature, an aristocrat, and Ivy Land Denizen (RTR) to create infinite death triggers to drain our opponents to death. The inital setup is a sacrifice outlet, a persist creature with no -1/-1 counters, an aristocrat, and Ivy League Denizen (RTR). First sacrifice the persist creature on your sacrifice outlet which will trigger the aristocrat. When the creature reenters with a -1/-1 counter it will trigger Ivy League Denizen (RTR), target the persist creature and your back to square one. Repeat until opponents are drained.
This combo is the most specific of the 3, there is one one option for each of the categories. The pieces needed are Devoted Druid, Quillspike, and Obelisk Spider. You will need all 3 of the pieces out and have Devoted Druid able to tap for mana. First tap devoted druid floating . Then using Devoted Druid's activated ability untap it by placing a -1/-1 counter on it, this triggers Obelisk Spider draining our opponent(s). Then feed the into Quillspike's activated ability, removing the -1/-1 counter from Devoted Druid. You are now where you started, repeat until you win.
