Yes and no. All tokens have names. If a spell, like Llanowar Mentor tells you the name, it will have the assigned name. If it does not, it's name will be it's subtypes:
111.4 A spell or ability that creates a token sets both its name and its subtype(s). If the spell or ability doesn't specify the name of the token, its name is the same as its subtype(s). A "Goblin Scout creature token," for example, is named "Goblin Scout" and has the creature subtypes Goblin and Scout. Once a token is on the battlefield, changing its name doesn’t change its subtype, and vice versa.
However, when you're directed to choose a card name, you are limited to cards that actually exist. This means you cannot choose Elf, as that is Elf is not a card:
201.3. If an effect instructs a player to choose a card name, the player must choose the name of a card in the Oracle card reference. (See rule 108.1.) A player may not choose the name of a token unless it's also the name of a card.

Neat concept. These cards might be worth considering: Spark Double, Chakram Retriever, Sakashima the Impostor, Sakashima of a Thousand Faces, Glimpse of Nature, Shared Summons, Cryptolith Rite, Freyalise, Llanowar's Fury, Llanowar Mentor, Wirewood Channeler (errata says he's a druid now!), Sword of the Paruns, Staff of Domination, Concordant Crossroads, Quest for Renewal, Patron of the Orochi, Distant Melody

I'm not sure about the discard outlets, having a few is probably fine. Llanowar Mentor is probably better since it ramps as well, unless you really need unconditional instant outlets

Hey guys, I don't think there's an "Elf Druid" token image on the website. When I create one of these tokens with Llanowar Mentor, it's just a black box. Also, the Llanowar Mentor adds an "Elf Druid" token to the token list, not a "Llanowar Elves" token.

Hello! The Elf Druid tokens created by Llanowar Mentor are missing an image during playtest. The card correctly enters as a 1/1, but is just a black rectangle. The HTML code for this type of token has an incomplete URL for the image. It has:
Instead of something like:
background-image: url("//static.tappedout.net/mtg-cards/tokens/Insect 1-1 G M15 10 [Tokens].png
I'm not sure if it is an incomplete link, or if there is no elf druid image on the website. Either way, it would be nice if this could get fixed! I know it's just a small thing, but it makes play testing more fun to see the artwork! Thanks guys!

This deck seems to be complete and looks pretty good, but maybe Llanowar Mentor as food for thought? Just to be able to get rid of dead cards.
