Phyrexian Gargantua
Creature — Phyrexian Horror
When Phyrexian Gargantua enters the battlefield, you draw two cards and you lose 2 life.
legendofa on Praetors before Phyrexia
Are the praetors compleated versions of humans/humanoids, original creations made by Phyrexians or Phyrexia itself, or something else? Where did the praetors come from?
Elesh Norn is roughly human, give or take a gigantic head crest. Likely of humanoid origin.
Jin-Gitaxias has the basic head, torso, two arms, two legs, but that's as human as he gets. Pure Phyrexian?
Sheoldred is humanoid torso on arachnid- or crustacean-based abdomen. Probably humanoid origin, modified in a similar way to Phyrexian Gargantua or Phyrexian Rager here or here.
Urabrask is quadrupedal, but all I get from the card art is a big, muscular, metal-plated thing with a long whippy tail. Maybe a completed beast of some sort? Does another card have a better view? The Planeswalker's Guide to New Phyrexia art implies some measure of bipedalness.
Vorinclex is my most complete theory, and therefore most likely to be way off base. I think Vorinclex is a completed Fangren of some type (Firstborn, Hunter, Marauder, Pathcutter). The head is similar enough, although Vorinclex's crest is hugely exaggerated and fused with the shoulder plates. With the limbs partially skeletonized and reinforced, and additional body mass including a secondary set of arms, I think a Fangren could be twisted into Vorinclex relatively easily.
Mortlocke on New hubs to be added
Hello legendofa,
I propose a new hub to be added: Phyrexian. During Modern Horizons 2, 225 creatures were retconned into having the Phyrexian creature subtype to join Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider . Additionally, there were a smattering of Enchantments, Artifacts and etc that ether have the Phyrexian subtype or create creature tokens that do. Thanks to this retcon I now have a deck that has a Phyrexian tribal theme. For your reference, below is a full list of spells that were affected by WotC's Phyrexian errata.

IDK, I might be a compleated goblin piloting a fleshy mech, like Phyrexian Gargantua. I don't remember what I was before I was given the gift of perfection.

Progenitor Mimic is a cheaper Helm of the Host type effect but it’s less reliable because it triggers on upkeep instead of combat. Although this is offset by cheaper mana investment and it can target opposing creatures. As for card advantage there’s things like Mulldrifter and Phyrexian Gargantua for ETB based draw. For incremental draw there’s cards like Staff of Nin , Monastery Siege , and Arguel's Blood Fast Flip. For one off draw effects I really like Drawn from Dreams , Urban Evolution , and Game Plan . Also another sweet card in here would be Irregular Cohort . All these cards are very cheap. The mimic is around $2-$4 but that’s cheaper than helm so still worth. Anyways +1 from me and if you get a chance go check out my Pir and Toothy deck.

I've always considered Read the Bones to be better than sign in blood since it gives you the scry. It'll help to even out the mana curve a bit more, too.
For removal, I'd suggest Murderous Cut. It can hit anything, and the delve will help you cut noncreature spells out of your deck, allowing you to power both Grave Strength and Liliana's Indignation while cutting out Read the Bones, since you don't want to shoot yourself to much.
If you want more creature based card draw, Phyrexian Gargantua and Phyrexian Rager have the same effect as Dusk Legion Zealot.
Phyrexian Delver would be a good addition. In case you milled a creature you want, you can get it back. It does shoot you though, so I'd run no more than two in the deck.
Most importantly though, you'll want Nighthowler. It's a cheaper Revenant that also sees your opponent's graveyard. The only downside is the fact it doesn't fly. If that becomes an issue, you can bestow the Nighthowler onto the Revenant.
This seems like an incredibly fun deck idea, and I hope this helps!

This looks like a pretty fun deck, I rather like Gonti ETB as a theme.
I would definitely take Rune-Scarred Demon and Sepulchral Primordial off the maybe list and into the deck. They are some of the strongest ETBs around and are definitely perfect for this deck.
Other interesting ETBs to consider:
Creature control:Fleshbag Marauder, Merciless Executioner, Abyssal Gatekeeper, Slum Reaper: If your playgroup likes their indestructible/hexproof stuff. I would not run all of course but pick your favorite.
Revival:Puppeteer Clique, Entomber Exarch, GravediggerClique is one of my favorite creatures period, really handy to have. Exarch offers options on ETB and Gravedigger is a classic but his relatively low cost can be really nice.
Card Draw:Phyrexian Rager, Phyrexian GargantuaThough they can deal a bit of damage to you but Black does not really care about that these critters can refill your hand nicely.
Other:Netherborn Phalanx: For both playing and tutoring. Can really hurt with a Panharmonicon in play.
