First things first. I don't play modern and so taxes may be a little overstated for this deck. But I really like the idea of the modern deck and I wanted a deck that did similar things in edh. I'm getting fed up with getting wrecked by combo decks at my LGS and this is a response to that.

Anafenza, the Foremostmight be the right general here but Tymna the Weaver+Sidar Kondo of Jamuraa gives me consistent Phyrexian Arena in the command zone and this is a creature deck that also likes to wrath so it needs to be able to recover. The idea here is to clog up my opponent's strategy and build up a nasty board of creatures.

I'd love to hear some suggestions. The deck definitely does not win fast and that's its weak point for sure so suggestions there are especially welcome. I'd like to avoid infinite combos for the sake that this deck aims to squash combos but I'm not opposed to lock-out board states though.

Some of the problem decks in the meta are Prossh, Skyraider of Khertokens/voltron (no combos), Selvala, Heart of the Wilds Big green/combo, Prime Speaker Zegana, big mana, big draw, 5 color and Atraxa, Praetors' Voice superfriends, Meren of Clan Nel Toth stax, Purphoros, God of the Forge damage everyone, deck:Sigarda, Heron's Grace enchantress voltron, and Maelstrom Wanderer Big stuff, combo. This is by no means a complete list but a couple of decks I aim to hate out.

The maybeboard are cards that definitely go in the deck but I haven't gotten around to obtaining.

The sideboard is for decks that are in the meta but see a little less play. I waffle back and forth putting these cards in the deck.
