Arjun combo/storm

Arjun Show

Arjun, the Shifting Flame, Mindmoil on a stick. This effect allows us to see our entire deck very quickly. Since we have so many mana positive and zero mana cost spells we will have many arjun triggers in a single turn. Your hand will be constantly shifting. The use of fetchlands for shuffling is a necessity. This commander gets completely obliderated by something like Notion Thief.

Why this deck? Pros and Cons Show

is a color combination that excludes two of the best colors in cEDH. The commander needs to warrant izzet. Other commanders like Nin, the Pain Artist, Niv-Mizzet, Parun, and Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain; act as an outlet, combo with other cards, have powerful synergies and/or act as a draw engine. Arjun, comparably is the only one that is able to act as an outlet for Dramatic Scepter and Barrin/Dockside combos, (nin needs haste.) The 6 cmc casting cost of Arjun may turn some of you away, but we mostly only cast him after we have assembled the combo or have a major storm engine online. Arjun is far from the best decks of the format. is arguably a better storm deck, however the lines are much more combo oriented, with Thassa's Oracle or Jace, Wielder of Mysteries as the usual wincons. This deck is much more of a manual storm deck, with fewer slots devoted to wincons.

Pros: Fast combo turns, out of nowhere wins, flexibility, complex lines of play

Cons: There are better decks, there are things that tax/prevent draws, there are stax decks, there are faster decks

Storm Show

Storm is an old strategy, but with Aetherflux Reservoir a new kind of multiplayer viable storm deck was born. Arjun will allow for a huge storm count especially if comboed with Alhammarret's Archive. Winning with storm is easy because Arjun will allow you to find the zero drops, and mana positive spells while looking for a wheel effect or draw effect. If you sequence your spells correctly and draw lucky, Arjun and Aetherflux Reservoir can win alone.

Dramatic Scepter Show

Isochron Scepter imprinting Dramatic Reversal is our main infinite combo. It give us infinite Arjun, the Shifting Flame triggers and allows us to draw and/or stack our deck.

Aetherflux Reservoir wins with the above combo . Copy Artifact, copying Isochron Scepter imprinting Lightning Bolt is another way to win if Aetherflux is exiled.

Dockside combo Show

Barrin, Master Wizard + Dockside Extortionist (as long as opponents collectively have >5 artifacts and/or enchantments) gives us infinite treasures, mana, and arjun triggers.
