Primal Clay

Artifact Creature — Shapeshifter

As Primal Clay enters the battlefield, it becomes your choice of a 3/3 artifact creature, a 2/2 artifact creature with flying, or a 1/6 Shapeshifter Wall artifact creature with defender.

It looks like your main goal is to stick a creature and then buff it as much as possible with +1/+1 counters. To improve the strength and consistency of the deck, I recommend cutting anything that isn't working towards that end (unless it's very efficient.) I'd identify those cards as Druid's Deliverance, Sundering Growth, Bountiful Harvest, Bump in the Night, Lair Delve, Blood Reckoning, Tablet of the Guilds, Primal Clay, Trestle Troll, and maybe Phylactery Lich (depending on how many artifacts you end up running in the end.) I'd also suggest swapping out Intimidation to stay modern legal, possibly with something like Bellowing Tanglewurm if you really really want the evasion. Your strongest cards that I'd want additional copies of are Abrupt Decay (budget permitting), Ring of Xathrid, Undying Evil, Slitherhead, and Death's Presence (assuming your meta is slow enough to run it.) It also looks like Tormented Soul is a critical piece that benefits the most from growing big, so having redundancy for it seems like a good idea. Changeling Outcast, Gingerbrute, and Silhana Ledgewalker could all be fine targets. For +1/+1 synergy, you have scavenge staples like Varolz, the Scar-Striped, Corpsejack Menace, and Lotleth Troll along with more general options like Polukranos, Unchained, Winding Constrictor, Hardened Scales, Hydra's Growth, Rishkar, Peema Renegade, Scavenging Ooze (which is particularly good in a sideboard), Drana, Liberator of Malakir, Hunger of the Howlpack, Forced Adaptation, and Llanowar Reborn. Finally, some cards I've had success with in graveyard-focused decks include Tragic Slip, Satyr Wayfinder, Grisly Salvage, Splinterfright, and Fauna Shaman. Let me know if you have any questions and good luck with your build!

Cut Alluring Siren, Belligerent Brontodon, Cathedral Membrane(wont block), Fog Bank(cant deal damage), Guardians of Akrasa, Jaddi Offshoot, Kami of False Hope, Majestic Myriarch, Primal Clay, Thing in the Ice  Flip, The Chain Veil, Doubling Season (Unless you add way more counter/token stuff)

I'd probably run Amaranthine Wall, Assault Formation (For when Arcades isnt around and the +0/+X boost), Guard Gomazoa (since he cant die in combat), Hornet Nest (for tokens and he can be very efficient), Mnemonic Wall (to get back a wrath), Psychic Membrane (if you plan on blocking its awesome), Sprouting Phytohydra, Sunscape Familiar (cause duh), Walking Archive, Wall of Frost (big and a good blocker), Wall of Mulch (value off of an enemy wrath), Wall of Omens, Wall of Roots.

Also Quest for Renewal, to block with them,Sight of the Scalelords or anything to give all vigilance, maybe even Aggressive Mammoth, or something to grant all trample

Wall tribal is real tricky when you aren't running Wall of Mulch/Wall of Roots/Overgrown Battlement (+Axebane Guardian)

Cathedral Membrane Jeskai Barricade and Wall of Tanglecord are worth a look too.

Deep Freeze is on theme.

Guardian Zendikon/Gleaming Barrier/Primal Clay/Warmonger's Chariot all aren't great, but might be worth a look.

Another quick change is out Primal Clay going out and coming in is Sword of Feast and Famine

This should help make the deck a little more lethal and fun ;)

I really like the idea of the deck, but would have a couple of small changes. Primal Clay can be versatile in the things it can be and could help the Overgrown Battlement do its job, but I would suggest running either Wall of Omens for the synergy with the battlements and card draw, or Vengevine as it works well with Fauna Shaman and can be an alternate win condition.

also, you may want to look into taking the Spatial Contortion of the sideboard, as you don't have a mana source that can play it. Replace with a Dromoka's Command perhaps?

Hey I hope you're still working on this! You commented on my deck and it took me a bit to get back as well. I know I +1'd a long ass time ago lol

Since you are going all creatures: you need to find ones that fulfil roles of noncreature spells.

Wood Elves, Farhaven Elf, Sakura-Tribe Elder, Coiling Oracle, maybe Ondu Giant. You have Solemn Simulacrum and Birds of Paradise which are fantastic. There's really expensive ramp too, like Bloom Tender and Lotus Cobra

Phyrexian Ingester, Duplicant, Flametongue Kavu, Inferno Titan... Reclamation Sage, Ainok Survivalist, Manglehorn, Woodfall Primus... Mystic Snake, Draining Whelk...

I could not agree more with hintseeker's first point about drawing cards and utilizing colorless creatures. That's the meat n potatoes of the deck

I like Shaman of the Great Hunt; but not everybody does! It can chug along and turns all your creatures into pseudo-vampires. What's not to like? Thrasios, Triton Hero has a similar draw ability. Rashmi, Eternities Crafter is rad. Prime Speaker Zegana can be huge. Vizier of the Menagerie is a cool new card. Elvish Visionary and Wall of Blossoms just went back into my deck. I don't run Sages of the Anima since I'm running noncreature spells I want to draw, but it would be great in here once you've decided you've played enough lands. Filter them out for multiple creatures per draw. Oracle of Mul Daya is a thing too, and Magus of the Future

To put Cloud of Faeries, Peregrine Drake, Great Whale, and Palinchron into perspective; imagine the payoff of untapping all your lands after casting multiple creature spells and just keep going. Now bounce one of them with Shrieking Drake/Dream Stalker/Man-o'-War, cast again, keep going. With enough +1/+1 counters on animar: Temur Sabertooth can bounce them for infinite mana and infinite animar counters (Cloud of Faeries needs lands like Izzet Boilerworks/Gruul Turf/Simic Growth Chamber). Deadeye Navigator can also gain infinite mana via "Flicker" effect. Lastly, Tidespout Tyrant bouncing any two colorless and/or land-untapping creatures you control goes infinite. Whether it's eldrazi or morph doesn't matter. Ancestral Statue alone bounces itself into an infinite animar

Obviously I've given way too many suggestions. Choose what works for you and your budget. Also every playgroup/meta is different.

You have some bangers in here like Maelstrom Wanderer, Craterhoof Behemoth, Phyrexian Metamorph, etc. Anger and Ogre Battledriver are great for an aggro deck like this

Cards I would take out: Ancient Silverback, Enclave Elite, Frontier Guide, Hanweir Lancer, AEther Membrane, Primal Clay, Young Wolf, etc. Instead of running something like Grazing Gladehart; invest in a Purphoros, God of the Forge mwahahaha

Above all, have fun! Cheers!
