Howdy! Gishath is a fun choice for dinosaur tribal, can't go too wrong!
In terms of general advice for cuts, I'd try to evaluate the cards in terms of if it wins the game or furthers your gameplan for the deck. For example, in your current decklist, Slayer's Cleaver doesn't seem to gel with either your ramp or dino matters themes, and it strikes me as a dead draw.
Also, while cool, Morophon, the Boundless unfortunately has the color identity of all 5 colors, so you can't "legally" run it with your current commander.
All in all though, I'd recommend focusing on cards that you enjoy playing, even if it's not "optimal!"
So with that out of the way, here are some cards I'd recommend cutting hahaha XD Frilled Deathspitter Thrash of Raptors Territorial Hammerskull Ravenous Daggertooth Frenzied Raptor Bonded Horncrest Rallying Roar Huatli's Spurring Slayer's Cleaver Overgrowth (There are cheaper cmc options that will both ramp AND color fix for you), Strength of the Pack .
Those are all cards that strike me as cool, but maybe worth cutting.
As for suggestions, Ikoria brought about a LOT of cool dinosaurs! Quartzwood Crasher can put in some work! I'd play Titanoth Rex over Ancient Brontodon as you can still cycle it for less mana, both are just big dumb creatures! It would take some cuts, but I've seen some people run Kaheera, the Orphanguard as a companion for your commander, so that could help you make some cuts as well? And for flavor Zilortha, Strength Incarnate is a flavor win!
I'd also recommend Kinjalli's Sunwing . It's a "hate dinosaur" that has evasion and can stall opponents enough that you can summon your big boy dinosaur! Speaking of, Apex Altisaur and Zacama, Primal Calamity are the biggest.
The thing I'd probably recommend adding over anything is Pyrohemia . It's a board wipe in a pinch (something that is needed to get to late game) and allows for some cheeky interactions that can be frustrating to deal with. It turns Siegehorn Ceratops Snapping Sailback and Bellowing Aegisaur into creatures that keep getting bigger or pump your entire team all while clearing the board for bigger attacks. Not to mention it also is a handy source for one ping damage for enrage triggers.
Hope these suggestions help! Happy hunting!

This is a good start! Here are a few suggestions.
-
Make sure you run 38 lands. You mana curve is pretty high and your commander is expensive so you want to be playing lands every turn.
-
Cards to remove: Altar of Dementia , Arcum's Astrolabe , Prying Blade , Ephemerate , Huatli's Spurring , Shake the Foundations , Fight with Fire , Strength of the Pack , Form of the Dinosaur , any of the weaker dinosaurs or non-dinosaur creatures.
-
Consider adding removal/boardwipes like Fumigate , Swords to Plowshares , Oblivion Ring .
-
More card draw Shamanic Revelation , Guardian Project are a couple off the top of my head.

There's a whooole bunch of cards that would do nicely in this deck in Ixalan. If you're looking for cards, start by buying packs and boxes from there (as that's where you'll find literally all of your dinosuar).
If I were building the deck, the first thing I'd do is throw out some of the unriliable or unfitting cards like Pterodon Knight, Huatli's Spurring, and Built to Smash. As for adding cards, I like the idea of Charging Tuskodon and creatures activate abilities when damaging players (psst, Gishath, Sun's Avatar). Lightning Strike and the like provide good creature removal, and Territorial Hammerskull have are good evasion effects.
Green would benefit the deck tremendously. There are dinosaurs aplenty in green, and it could provide some much needed ramp (more mana faster) and creature buffing.
Cards I would consider adding are Blood Mist (one of my favorites), Cobbled Wings, Thundering Spineback, regisaur alpha , Gishath, Sun's Avatar if you can get your hands on one or two, and Cherished Hatchling.
Just look around in Ixalan and see what works and what doesn't while you're playing. was and is my best friend when I'm looking for cards to add to a deck.
PS: Your deck is standard, not modern, unless you imagine adding cards from non-standard sets in the future.
Guyvas on Zacama EDH deck

This is my first time building an EDH deck and I was curious what could be improved.
7 Mountains
8 Forests
8 Plains
I want to add in a boardwipe like Wrath of God or Planar Cleansing and switch something out for Wakening Sun's Avatar and then I don't have Command Tower or Reliquary Tower in and don't know if they're "required".

Last comment did not work so I reposted it in a different format.
These are my recommendations:
- Tilonalli's Knight - for your commander you want mostly dinosaurs and this is not a good enough.
- Shining Aerosaur - plain dino
- Raptor Companion - plain dino
- Titanic Ultimatum - you do not need overrun effects in your dinos deck as they are strong enough on thier own.
- Deathmist Raptor - does not really do anything in your deck but is a 3/3 deathtouch
- Frenzied Raptor - plain dino
- Imperial Lancer - for your commander you want mostly dinosaurs and this is not a good enough.
- Pterodon Knight - same as above.
- New Horizons - better ramp available
- Dinosaur Stampede - do not need to add damage it is better to ramp your commander or add dinos for him to get.
- Huatli's Spurring - same as above.
- Rallying Roar - same as above.
- Slash of Talons - not really good you could go Path to Exile instead as a better removal at the same cmc.
- Coat of Arms - do not need to add damage it is better to ramp your commander or add dinos for him to get.
- Ramp cards like Skyshroud Claim or Cultivate.
- Creature ramp specifically Birds of Paradise, the elves, and Priest of Titania.
- ways to cheat in dinos Quicksilver Amulet and Elvish Piper.
- more dinos with effects you do not want plain dinos that are just a 4/3 beater you want it to do something.
- more haste enablers like Swiftfoot Boots or Urabrask the Hidden
- more removal or ways to interact with the board like Path to Exile, Nature's Claim, Wear, Austere Command, and Pyroblast

Hey there!
I have to agree I'm surprised more people haven't tried boros lizards. I play Standard Showdown almost every week and I have seen Gruul and Naya but never Boros. Personally I have been playing mono green stompy and rakdos zombies so I guess I'm not exactly one for the norm anyway.
After a few weeks at the showdown I realized why some of the top decks (temur energy, Sultai energy and grixis energy) were hard on me at times because they were getting a lot of value out of specific creatures (Hostage Taker, The Scarab God). I think white offers the best options for dealing with these threats and if I wanted to play dinosaurs right now I think it needs to be in there. Even if that means losing (arguably) the two best lizards in Ripjaw Raptor and Carnage Tyrant. I think its just more consistent with 2 colors.
Sorry to ramble, but happy others are giving this a shot. Anyway my 2cents is that you should lose Gideon and add a second Huatli, Warrior Poet. If for no other reason than it will make Huatli's Spurring easier to trigger. I love theming a deck, and I love it even more when the deck works!
Here is my take on it (not themed around sun empire, just dinosaurs) Temposaurus

I feel that Rampaging Ferocidon doesn't belong in this shell as it want more tokens to ping the opponent than your few creatures. Maybe even try the other Huatli, Dinosaur Knight Planeswalker! Another viable Rare/Mythic replacement could be Combustible Gearhulk (for more gas) or Burning Sun's Avatar
Even though not a dino, I would look into Dauntless Aven as a means to protect your Huatli, by giving your big creatures Pseudo vigilance.
I would try these changes for a bigger punch through:
-1 Sky Terror (You already want to get to late game as soon as possible so you can skip 1)
+1-2 Huatli's Spurring (with the other Huatli, it makes this spell even better!)
