Thrash of Raptors Discussion

-Arcanity- Thank you very much for the recommendation and suggestions! I do have 3 more copies of Raptor Hatchling and I'll try that deck out against friends. Maybe even put in 4 Thrash of Raptors since when I do play against my friends, I always count on the card being there since being 5/3 with trample is really powerful. Thank you again for the suggestion I will make a deck that revolves around Dino Tokens!

I have some ideas for this deck.
- Put Kinjalli's Caller in and drop Imperial Lancer.
- I would add Sheltering Light to protect your things from getting killed.
- Get one more Charging Monstrosaur and Thrash of Raptors and drop
Look at R/W Jurassic Park, The Scary Bit.

You can use Savage Stomp to your advantage with enrage dinos. if you dont have/want many of those in your deck, consider cutting Raging Swordtooth . on that note, Raptor Companion and Tilonalli's Skinshifter both die to Swordtooth's ETB effect.
I would do 4 total of Drover of the Mighty . its a 2-drop 3/3 with an upside. you'll most likely have a dino out, but if not, its still a mana dork to ramp out the big guns.
Thaumatic Compass and New Horizons seem slow for an aggro deck. have you been having success with those, specifically? i'd say probably cut them for a combination of Drover of the Mighty and other dinos. maybe some main deck Lightning Strike or Cast Out for a bit of general removal that doesnt require a creature.
Lastly, have you considered Burning Sun's Avatar (had pretty good success with that guy), Ripjaw raptor (price tag sucks, but the dude is good), Kinjalli's Sunwing , or Imperial Aerosaur (a well-timed, surprise flying dino bomb can close a game)?? if you're going low-to the ground aggressive some other worthy considerations are Sky Terror, Nest Robber, Metallic Mimic, Raptor Hatchling , Territorial Hammerskull, Rampaging Ferocidon, Bonded Horncrest (not in love with him, but not terrible with low curve aggro), Thrash of Raptors, and Dinosaur Stampede. i was rocking a RW dino aggro list and got top 8 at FNM at my LGS. changed the list so much and went Naya, so the relevance isnt there as much. worth noting that low-curve aggro dinos are actually playable. Nest Robber was mvp.

I definitely recommend putting Rampaging Ferocidon into your deck probably in place of Thrash of Raptors. They're more versatile because of their menace, and their Impact Tremors-like ability forces your enemy to hurt themselves to play their creatures.

This is too inconsistent at the moment for me to properly Comment on it.
You've set it up like a Commander deck, with almost one of every type of Creature.
For a start I would try this:
2x Bellowing Aegisaur
1x Drover of the Mighty
1x Gishath, Sun's Avatar
3x Kinjalli's Caller
1x Kinjalli's Sunwing
1x Otepec Huntmaster
1x Priest of the Wakening Sun
2x Ranging Raptors
1x Raptor Hatchling
1x Ravenous Daggertooth
3x Regisaur Alpha
4x Ripjaw Raptor
1x Snapping Sailback
1x Territorial Hammerskull
2x Thrash of Raptors
1x Tilonalli's Skinshifter
Your mana base should look more like this:

Cool deck idea!
Have you considered swapping Imperial Aerosaur for Pterodon Knight? Also it seems like you have a lot of dinos-matter cards, so it seems like you could use some more of them. Maybe amp up your Rampaging Ferocidon, Kinjalli's Sunwing, Thrash of Raptors and/or look for other cool dinos.

I really appreciate the advice. I choose the Thrash of Raptors because usually when I have the callers they come out easy and usually are a 5/3 trample, but yeah they're kinda high cost without that, and there's better cards to replace them. What big dinos would you recommend me using? I'd like to include another 2-3 Ripjaw raptor , one more regisaur alpha , and a few Carnage Tyrant but they're so expensive right now. Also, how many creatures should I have?

Thrash of Raptors isnt good enough for what it costs in standard. Channeler Initiate really doesn't fit well, it is a solid card but doesn't reduce or synergize the dinos. Raging Swordtooth is a sideboard card against things like tokens. 24 lands with all those cost reducers would be enough. You need more plains or lands that tap for white the Kinjalli's Caller turn 1. Commune with Dinosaurs is really strong early game as mana fixing and a great top deck when your hand is empty, a 4 of for sure. Savage Stomp is really good need a few copies in here as well. I like that your curve goes high and that you have a lot of cards at 1-3 mana but maybe a few too many. Play test and see what is performing and replace with cards that are doing well or more removal pieces. You don't really have much in the way of removal, and if you have a lot of 4-7 drops in your opening hand your opponent may be able to get going too quickly for you to put up much of a fight. Authority of the Consuls shuts down the red deck that was seeing lots of play and Lightning Strike Shock are both great for planeswalkers. Along the same lines Cast Out is solid as well and deserves a spot in the sideboard if nothing else.
