Hello Everybody,

Thank you for taking your time to check out my deck!

This was my first adventure into cEDH. I wanted to make something that was not mainstream, but solid nonetheless. Therefore I've picked Maelstrom Wanderer as my commander and have chosen to go a different route than the more common extra turns and land destruction. I have since been rotating and trying cards for the last 6 months.

The deck can produce infinite mana with the following combination of cards:

• Food Chain + Misthollow Griffin

• Eternal Scourge + Food Chain

• Food Chain + Squee, the Immortal

The infinite mana we use to cast our Maelstrom Wanderer , get two cards for free from the cascades, exile it with Food Chain and cast it again. Repeat this process until we end up casting all our non-land cards.

The finisher in this deck is rather classic:

• Bounding Krasis + Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker

• Deceiver Exarch + Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker

There's an alternative wincon in Shaman of Forgotten Ways because I'm expecting opponents to play near to no creatures and it gets around Splinter Twin/Kiki hate like Torpor Orb .

I'm currently playing fetches, shocks, duals, Gemstone, Cradle and basic lands, so I can run the nonbasic land hate cards. The same reasoning I used for the relative low amount of artifacts, so I can run mass artifact destruction and the artifact tax card Energy Flux .

Drift of Phantasms is a tutor for both the infinite mana combo and the Kiki-Jiki combo:

• It gets Food Chain, Eternal Scourge or Squee.

• Or we transform our ghostly friends into Deceiver Exarch, Bounding Krasis or Pestermite. To be able to find Kiki-Jiki, you first have to transmute for Imperial Recruiter

The Timetwister and duals are in the deck because in our group we're allowed to proxy 5 cards. If this was not the case I would cut it in a heartbeat.

Chrome Mox and Gemstone Cavern you can use to exile Griffin, Squee and Eternal Scourge. You can use them from exile with Food Chain.
