Only Through Sacrifice Shall We Achieve Victory

enter image description here

A deck utilising sacrifice loops to make infinite mana, drain, draw, mill or commander damage.

The power level is meant to be pseudo-competitive to be able to keep the pace of the other decks in my playgroup that started out casual, but has been experiencing some power-creep.

Currently in development.

The holy father Vish Kal, Blood Arbiter is a mighty foe. He is a win-con, removal and life-gain all in one, but crucially he is also a sacrifice outlet which opens up a lot of possibilities.

The overseers are the believers that oversee the sacrificial ritual and draws power from it.

Elenda, the Dusk Rose and Teysa, Orzhov Scion channel the ritual into tokens and in the case of Teysa sacrifice those tokens to exile creatures.

Harvester of Souls and Grim Haruspex channel the mystical power of the ritual into card draw.

Butcher of Malakir and Dictate of Erebos demand our opponents to uphold the ritual and sacrifice their own creatures.

Pitiless Plunderer and Pawn of Ulamog create sources of mana when overseeing the sacrificial ritual.

Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat and Falkenrath Noble are all inspired to drain your opponents when they see the sacrificial rituals. One of these creatures on board will instantly win the game if we hit an infinite sacrifice loop.

Crypt Ghast allow us to extort our opponents whenever we cast a spell, and can be quite efficient ramp with the right lands.

Black Market becomes a source of enormous amounts of mana as the ritual is performed.

Altar of the Brood mills our opponent as we return believers from the graveyard.

Blade of the Bloodchief channels power from the ritual to the creature that equips it.

The ritual demand sacrifice. The pontifex can't always be the one sacrificing our creatures, these are our alternate sac. outlets.

Razaketh, the Foulblooded a great and powerful demon. A sacrifice outlet that finds combo pieces.

Viscera Seer executes the ritual and digs.

Altar of Dementia executes the ritual and mill our opponents.

Ashnod's Altar executes the ritual and make mana.

Powerful entities that bring the believers back from the dead.

Karmic Guide and Reveillark combo infinitely with a sac. outlet.

Sun Titan combos infinitely with Angelic Renewal

Willing sacrifices that set up multiple rituals, can be resurrected an infinite amount of times with the right set-up.

Oathsworn Vampire combos with Jet Medallion and Bontu's Monument. While Reassembling Skeleton and Bloodsoaked Champion combo with Embalmer's Tools.

Sengir Autocrat brings with him a following of serfs to be sacrificed with him.

Artifacts and enchantments that set up and participate in combos.

Jet Medallion and Bontu's Monument function as discount rocks, but also set up for an infinite combo with Bloodsworn Vampire.

Embalmer's Tools make the returning Bloodsoaked Champion and Reassembling Skeleton cheaper and may allow for an infinite combo.

Angelic Renewal can be a one-time resurrection, but it will go infinite with Sun Titan and a sac. outlet.

Nim Deathmantle protects the board and combos with Ashnod's Altar.

Enchantments and artifacts that set up control or draw.

Blind Obedience and Authority of the Consuls demand that creatures our opponents control enter the battlefield tapped.

Ghostly Prison demand our opponents pay mana to attack us.

Arguel's Blood Fast   and Necropotence draw cards to find the pieces to perform the ritual.

Phyrexian Reclamation is reusable recursion. Which may find us return the necessary creatures from the graveyard in order to get our combo online.

Skullclamp is pure card draw value, becomes extremely efficient with one of the martyrs on board.

Well of Lost Dreams good with a commander with lifelink, drain effects and Venser's Journal. This is probably the card to cut for Phyrexian Altar, if it gets a reprint and stops being stupid expensive.

Venser's Journal gains us life and keeps our hand size infinite.

The taxation of sin. X-cost spells that are game-winning with infinite mana.

Supporting sorceries and instants. Tutors and resurrection.

Diabolic Tutor, Increasing Ambition and Mastermind's Acquisition are all budget tutors that get the job done.

Buried Alive and Corpse Connoisseur find creatures in the library and put them in the graveyard. Works well with the deck running multiple forms of resurrection and creatures that can be cast from the graveyard.

Victimize and Unburial Rites return creatures from the graveyard to the battlefield with great efficiency.

The removal package. The deck does not devote to many slots to removal, as our commander can deal with most creatures on his own.

Utter End, Anguished Unmaking and Mortify are all able to hit most of the hate tech our opponents might run, like Rest in Peace and Leyline of the Void in instant speed.

Merciless Eviction allows us to push back an opponents board-state if it should get out of hand.

Decree of Pain is both a board-wipe and card draw. Even at its steep cost it is a worthy inclusion.

Church treasury and jewelery. The deck runs 8 mana-rocks, though this number might increase in future renditions. To achieve our combos as early as possible we need to ramp to the point where we can cast our pieces.

The lands of the church.

Inventors' Fair and Sequestered Stash can tutor out our Altars and other artifact combo pieces from the library or returning them from the graveyard, respectivly.

There are a lot of ways to get a lot of mana and sac. triggers, but these are the ones that go infinite.

Jet Medallion + Oathsworn Vampire + Pitiless Plunderer + Sac. Outlet = Infinte Sacrifice and Cast Triggers

Bontu's Monument + Oathsworn Vampire + Pitiless Plunderer + Sac. Outlet = Infinite Sacrifice and Cast Triggers + Drain

Ashnod's Altar + Pitiless Plunderer + Martyr = Infinite Colorless Mana + Sac. Triggers

Embalmer's Tools + Pitiless Plunderer + Martyr + Sac. Outlet = Infinite Sac Triggers

Ashnod's Altar + Nim Deathmantle + Sengir Autocrat = Infinite Colorless Mana + Sac. Triggers

Ashnod's Altar + Nim Deathmantle + Pawn of Ulamog = Infinite Sac. Triggers

Karmic Guide + Reveillark + Sac. Outlet = Infinite Sac. Triggers

Angelic Renewal + Sun Titan + Sac. Outlet = Infinite Sac. Triggers

All suggestions are very much appreciated! But please note that I am trying to keep the cards below 5$ each, so any costly cards have to really justify their inclusion in the list.
