I decided to go with an artifact based Pako, Arcane Retriever + Haldan, Avid Arcanist deck instead of instant based. I wanted to be able to put out more mana rocks to accelerate my commanders and to use all the spells I get from my opponents. Then I figured, while I'm putting more artifacts in, the equipments would be more permanent than the spells.
