Ring of Kalonia might be a decent substitute for Behemoth Sledge unless lifelink is better than +1/+1 counter triggers.

You are probably right about Afiya Grove being lackluster triggers for S&H but "falls prey to my dislike of old art cards" made me physically cringe.

I respect your budget decisions and reasoning on every suggestion but would ask you to reconsider Phantom Nantuko. The scenario you described is an impenetrable wall that triggers S&H once a turn. Not as powerful as Mikaeus, the Lunarch but still useful.

Ring of Kalonia and/or Ring of Valkas nothing crazy but serious potential.

Sword of Truth and Justice all gas. Pure power.

Phantom Nantuko a jank rare turns into an efficient engine piece.

Renegade Krasis serious engine. Was surprised it wasn't in your solid list of creatures.

Afiya Grove this janky reserved list rare might be worth a spot.

Branching Evolution and Hardened Scales not janky and both are worthy a spot.

Tribute to the World Tree card draw or counters. Seems good.

Ordeal of Nylea an upgrade to one of your sorcery speed ramp spells.

I think a Ring of Kalonia would do some heavy lifting in this deck if you have room for it, either in addition to or as a replacement for Brawler's Plate. Looks fun!

I would recommend adding Primal Cocoon and maybe a Ring of Kalonia for a constant upkeep increase, as well ass Might of the Masses to pump her up decently in a turn to steal something with some heft to it. Blanchwood Armor as a maybe, seeing that you only have 9 instances of forests in your land base. Beast Within, Rapid Hybridization, and Pongify are good cheap to cast removals.

Coward_Token - Are there really that many? I honestly couldn't think of any more beyond Armory of Iroas, Hydra's Growth, and Ring of Kalonia, but I also didn't take a ton of time to search out more. I will say though, the fact that it simply says "a counter" does mean cards like Slippery Bogbonder can modify Kosei.

Cards like Predatory Focus or Siege Behemoth would work. Or give it trample with cards like Elvish Herder , Ring of Kalonia or Rancor .

This deck's curve isn't super high, and you have a LOT of land. You could easily cut a few for more utility or removal. Ring of Kalonia helps a bit with your strategy and confers Trample so you can swing in for the win.
