I've loved Chatterfang ever since I first saw it, so I built this deck with the goal of never feeling bad bringing it to the table and keeping the amount of (unhappy) groaning from other players to a minimum.

The cards tagged "* ANTI FUN :(" are ones that IMO are particularly unfun to play against (either in general or in this deck in particular). I want to keep the concentration of these very low, I want to be comfortable playing this at a casual table. This is the same reason I'm playing a minimal number of tutors (and none of the typical black suite), as well as most broken fast mana/Gaea's Cradle, Craterhoof/Finale of Devastation, Natural Order, The One Ring, and several others. The ones that are still in are particularly synergistic while usually serving at least one critical role AND that I haven't yet found an acceptable replacement for that is less miserable, and even then they're high candidates for cuts. If a card is salt-inducingly powerful without having synergy, I've worked hard to keep it out of the deck especially if it's hard to remove. Cards that make the board a nightmare to track like Coat of Arms would also fall into this category.

Warren Soultraders is an interesting case because it falls into both categories: I'm excited to play it, but I can't imagine anyone else being happy to see it.

Note: The sideboard is a maybeboard for cuts.
