Hoarding Broodlord

Creature — Dragon

Convoke (You may tap your creatures as you cast this spell. Each creature you tap while casting this spell pays for or one mana of that creature's colour.)

Flying

When Hoarding Broodlord enters the battlefield, search your library for a card, exile it face down, then shuffle your library. For as long as that card remains exiled, you may play it.

Spells you cast from exile have convoke.

This is a fine assortment of dragons. I like it! Have you considered Hoarding Broodlord? It's pretty mana-intensive, but has some serious finisher vibes to me.

Icefall Regent is a card I really like in my Jeskai dragons. Maybe giv it a shot here as a pretty good removal spell?

Nice deck! I always love seeing more creature-based Dragon's Approach decks.

I have a similar one, Daleks & Dragons [[Davros EDH]]. One card I can't recommend strongly enough is Thrumming Stone. It turns all of your Dragon's Approaches into a high chance of an instant win. You can even tutor it up with Hoarding Broodlord for a fairly consistent wincon. Since it looks like you're trying to win with combat damage, I would also recommend Kolaghan, the Storm's Fury, who can make a fairly swole army of dragons. A cut I would consider would be Dalek Squadron, as it doesn't make any impact on most boards. I also think that The Cyber-Controller, for all of its power, could be cut for a more synergistic card.

Again, I love the deck!

Wow, nice deck! I personally think that you should run Hoarding Broodlord. This card is absolutely insane, as it can tutor up anything from a boardwipe to a Thrumming Stone to win out of nowhere. I also would recommend Bladewing the Risen to get some recursion for your dragons in the yard and maybe even Dragon Mage to refuel your hand.

I have a grixis Dragon's Approach build, Daleks & Dragons [[Davros EDH]]. I'd love it if you could give me some feedback on it!

How about Hoarding Broodlord? It's easily castable, it tutors and it makes every following impulsed card easier to cast.

This is really cool! In terms of suggestions, I can't recommend Hoarding Broodlord hard enough. You can use it to fetch and immediately cast the best card in your deck, and it is fetchable with Dragon's Approach. I'd also add Wound Reflection. It costs a bit more than Bloodletter of Aclazotz, but it applies retroactively to damage already dealt during the turn. It also works during your opponent's turns, making it quite a bit better than Bloodletter of Aclazotz.

I feel like lhetrick13 is already aware, but I should clarify incase jameswarlord doesn't know:

Dragon Tempest triggers for every Dragon that Ancient Gold Dragon generates. For example, if you roll...let's middleground and say you rolled a 10, with AGD being the only other Dragon you control.

That would be 11 damage 10 times in a row, 110 damage to spread across your opponents. If you roll a 12 or higher all of your opponents are dead if they're at 40 life, which they probably are not! A perfect example of why wording is so, so vital in this game...If the card would have said "Whenever one OR MORE Dragons", it wouldn't be good enough to consider over even something as simple as Mass Hysteria as a Haste enabler.

Also, I agree that the Hoarding Broodlord + Saw in Half combo is probably not worth running outside of Aristocrat/Reanimator strategies for sure. Whichever strategy enables the most 1-card wincons is imho the optimal route, though. If you're trying to max out on power, anyway...

Yeah, I pretty much agree with lhetrick13 about everything except the analysis of Dragon Tempest. Being a Haste enabler as well as a piece of a 2-card wincon alongside Ancient Gold Dragon is pretty nice. My intution tells me that if you cut it now, you'll end up re-adding it later in a more refined version of the list. Perhaps not, though!

Also, I think you should be informed about the Hoarding Broodlord + Saw in Half synergy, since you're already running 1 of the pieces. It goes as follows:

Step 1: Hoarding Broodlord ETBs, tutoring Saw in Half

Step 2: Cast Saw in Half targeting Hoarding Broodlord

Step 3: Tutor Burnt Offering & a fat card like Razaketh, the Foulblooded or Peer into the Abyss with your token Broodlords.

Step 4: Convoke Burnt Offering, sacrificing one of the token Broodlords - which retains its 8 mana CMC due to it entering the battlefield as a copy of the original Hoarding Broodlord, very important detail - adding 8 mana to your pool

Step 5: Convoke/cast whatever fatty you tutored for to win the game with. I always go with Razaketh, but you don't have to.

But anyway, definitely cut alot of those weaker value pieces mentioned for more fundamental deck strength cards that will draw you cards and ramp you mana.
