Introduction

This is a creature-based combo deck that is intended for somewhat competitive multiplayer pods. I have opted to use combos that consist of cards that have utility outside of going infinite. Any combo that we can use in this deck will also have a number of interchangeable pieces. This results in a deck that is flexible and resilient.

Although, this deck is probably not suited for brutally competitive EDH pods because it often lacks the speed that is necessary to keep up in this environment.

History

I have been playing decks almost since I started playing EDH. I made my first commander deck with Kemba, Kha Regent shortly after I started playing around Return to Ravnica. This quickly evolved into Sigarda, Host of Herons equipment voltron, which I played for a very long time.

Sometime on my adventures on youtube I saw a video about a 5 color combo deck with Progenitus (this video, if anybody is interested). This deck served as an inspiration for me to use the same creatures that untap lands in conjunction with an assortment of Wild Growth enchantments, but not in a combo deck. At first I just used these creatures and enchantments to make big mana in the Shalai, Voice of Plenty commander deck that my Sigarda, Host of Herons voltron deck had evolved into.

I played with Shalai, Voice of Plenty for some time, but my creature deck wasn't procuring much success. So, now we are at the present, and I am developing my creature deck into this flashy, big-mana combo deck. It's funny to think that my terrible Kemba, Kha Regent deck has, in a way, evolved all the way into this.

Note that I no longer play this deck, but I have preserved the decklist and primer because I still think that this deck and strategy are cool.
