Take advantage of Doran, the Siege Tower's ability and lay down some big defenders and other high-toughness creatures who really shine in his army. Lots of life gain, Lots of card draw, Lots of rampy-goodness. It's got good boardwipes that don't touch you, and other means of removal. This deck showcases some creatures (and other cards) that might not be as esteemed in other decks, which makes it relatively cheap.
