A budget multiplayer deck ($89 at time of construction) designed to sit back and pillowfort until you can get set up and rapidly win. Afterall, defender cant hurt, right? ;)

Made some quality of life changes as well and pulling some cards that have gotten quite expensive over the years to keep this deck sub $100 budget.

Abzan Charm -> Golgari Charm

For those of you on less of a budget

• For your landbase, you can go as wild as you want. Although, some of the utility lands that i would add were i less concerned about deck cost would be Bojuka Bog and Myriad Landscape

• An effective "soft lock" is Meekstone, Blind Obedience, and Authority of the Consuls.

• You can upgrade your card draw by swapping Underworld Connections for Phyrexian Arena. Greed is also a good card draw engine and Guardian Project is a good source of card advantage.

• You can upgrade your tutors by swapping Plea for Guidance for Enlightened Tutor and swapping Diabolic Tutor for Vampiric Tutor and/or Demonic Tutor. Worldly Tutor, Eladamri's Call, and Congregation at Dawn are also solid tutor upgrades.

• Upgraded removal would be Generous Gift, Beast Within, Krosan Grip, Swords to Plowshares, Path to Exile

• Id also consider extra evasion by getting trample effects through Primal Rage and Nylea, God of the Hunt
