As the big tree man says, power comes not from strength but endurance. The power to survive, to fight on and withstand everything you throw at me, is the truest of powers!

With Doran, there are a few different ways you can take the deck. One option is to focus the deck on walls, playing around with the enormous toughness-mana ratio of cards like Shield Wall and then punishing your opponent's with cards like Rolling Stones that enable your walls to attack. Many of the suggestions I have received for this deck have been along this route, with awesome walls like Wall of Reverence and Wall of Omens]] and enablers like Wakestone Gargoyle . However, the kind of deck I've built is centered around a much more midrangey game plan, with aggressively costed attackers like Tormented Angel , Grizzled Leotau and power Voltron enablers like Armadillo Cloak and Shield of the Oversoul.

This deck is built on a budget (or at least, that was the idea >_>) and is piloted by a very group-fun focused player. If it brings the hate of the rest of the table and dosen't plan on winning, I will have no part in it. If it tucks their commander, stops them from casting spells, conceding out of rage or just plain not having fun, I will put it nowhere near my deck. Keep that "competitive" EDH mindset to your own playgroup thank you very much.
