Soon as I saw Esior, Wardwing Familiar I wanted to build around it for the pseudo ward--plus bird. Voltron equip strat via Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist offers good resilience, adaptability, and speed.

There's several different builds out there, but tried to be a bit original going very low CMC and using cards like Flickering Ward which aren't seen often. If the deck's too fast, swap out commanders with something like Geist of Saint Traft or Stenn, Paranoid Partisan.

Fun fact, you can equip your opponents' creatures using Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist and play politics by being the "arms dealer". Certain things like sword effects will still trigger for your benefit if damage is dealt (and trigger twice with double strike).

Sideboard depending on meta (before game night). Maybeboard consists of ideas I've tinkered with, but the deck is staying as is. More just a collection of cards that might inspire you to take it in a different direction.

(Avoiding them, but some good Universes Beyond options: Forge Anew, Brotherhood Regalia, Codsworth, Handy Helper).
