This is my prototype for a Nicol Bolas themed Cruel Ultimatum EDH. However there are too many card at the moment, so I need tips on what to cut or replace.

The deck revolves around casting one of the four different "BigBad"-spells, copying them as many times as possible and then returning them to hand from GY by different means. The BigBads are:

Cruel Ultimatum

Dark Intimations

Torment of Hailfire

Wit's End

I may not win automatically by casting one of the spells and copying it, but it brings me a lot closer to winning and it's fun! I'm not entirely sure whetherDark Intimations is good enough, nor am I sure what I should replace it with or if it's enough with 3 BigBads.

The main issue here is not to build the best Grixis/Nicol Bolas deck, but to build a fun deck that can copy these big spells several times, so that great fun can be had in a casual environment. This is not supposed to be an expensive deck, so the cheaper it becomes the better! I look forward to your tips!

Legend - explanation of the categories

BigBad - The four main attractions of the deck. Cruel Ultimatum, Dark Intimations, Torment of Hailfire and Wit's End.

Card - Card draw, cantrips etc.

Casting - Spells that make it cheaper to cast Instants and Sorceries.

Control - Control and general removal.

Copy - Spells that copy other spells.

Discard - Cards that interact with the discard subtheme.

Land - Lands.

Ramp - Rocks and the like.

Return - Spells that return cards (The BigBads) from GY.

Threat - Creatures and PW that don't directly interact with the BigBad-Copy-Return "combo", but a Bolas themed or otherwise suitable.

Tutor - Tutors and wishes.

Utility - The rest.
