orderdone: Overall, it's a nice and fun deck to play. Evidently, it's not a tier 1 (or even 2) deck in competitive play, but it's an all right deck for LGS and kitchen play. I guess most people would say that a Death's Shadow deck is strictly better in modern, and while that might be true, I find the two decks to play in completely different ways. Personally I'm in love with the Grixis Delver deck due to the combination of tempo and control elements.
The printing of Dreadhorde Arcanist has been wonderful for the deck, since it provides a must fast clock and tempo (read recasting cantrips from gy) than was available before. I haven't had possibility to play the deck with Arcanist at my LGS that much, but in (a fairly nonbudget) kitchen magic it has really excelled. Especially I find that the Humans match-up has improved a lot, since a T2 Arcanist can be turned into a double fatal push or lightning bolt on T3 for only one mana and one card. I'm still tweaking the amount of Arcanists vs. Delve-threats in the maindeck and would appreciate suggestions and input! :) Also, I've been thinking to add 2x Faithless Looting , to further feed the Arcanist, Snapcaster and Gurmag Angler, but I'm a but worried about the card disadvantage it can present after the first casting, as well as the sorcery speed.
All in all, it's a fun deck that has a lot of hidden synergies and it can give most competitive decks in modern a good run for their money.
