Maybeboard

Trying to make an optimal Prossh combo deck. This is not a deck I have in paper, and as such there are no budget restrictions.

The win con is Food Chain and any of the seven creatures listed under FoodChain. Food Chain and Prossh make infinite Kobolds and creature mana. Any of those creatures (or Goblin Bombardment, but usually you have to play that earlier) can then win the game. Summoner's Pact and Goblin Matron are here and not in tutors because they will practically never be used to search up a creature unless it's getting a Food Chain creature for the win.

I have tried a couple other combos and they mostly seem to take up too many slots or have too many moving pieces. Various sacrifice engines like the Melira-Redcap combo, Birthing Pod lines with a Craterhoof Behemoth win-con, and every combat oriented trick like Beastmaster Ascension. They're all slower and dilute the Food Chain win. Some of these would shore up weaknesses like Aven Mindcensor or Stranglehold, but all in all they just can't do enough for the deck.

I have also tried adding stax pieces like Magus of the Moon or Stranglehold, but the best hope this deck has is to go under other decks. Trying to play the long game just isn't beneficial, and the only time you should is when you're waiting for the right moment to pull the trigger on Food Chain.

However, if someone drops a Static Orb or Mana Maze we can still use it to our advantage. Most everything under BoardInteraction will be used to blow up a stax piece at the end step of the player before you so you're in the clear to combo off on your turn.

Because Food Chain is practically the only win con there are a ton of tutors that are almost always going to grab it. Shred Memory will sometimes be used to search for a tutor that can get Food Chain. Yep, it's that important. Also, there are FoodChain creatures at two and three cmc so if need be the transmute cards can find one.

Shaman of Forgotten Ways is sometimes ramp and sometimes a win-con, but not particularly good at either. We'll see if it sticks around during playtesting.
