• WiP Commander deck. I just assembled it last night and I think it has promise. If I'm going by the power scale I'm aiming for 7-8, but I could be wrong about that. Mana base is the first priority. Since I know these might get brought up, cards like JTMS and Snap are taken from my Modern card pool, so they weren't the reason why my mana base suffered. I also don't like Sol Ring in Green decks, so that's why its missing. Mana rocks in general aren't really my thing. The plan so far is to ramp a bunch of lands and play big spells or big x spells and blink ETB's for value. Cards like Karametra and the other gods just add some good effects and beat sticks, they were actually part of the reason I wanted to build Chulane. I'm not one for instant "I Win" effects, but the people I play with now are, so I wanna get the Shrieking Drake, Lotus Cobra, and Walking Ballista/Jace, Wielder of Mysteries/Laboratory Maniac combo. I know there are more ways to do it but I'm gonna stick to the basic pieces, at least at first. I actually think I'm missing something there so if someone could help me fill in the gaps I'd appreciate that. Birthing Pod is something I'd like to do since that's my favorite card and it used to be the centerpiece of my Teneb, the Harvester deck back in the day, and will shove it in if given the chance. Outside of that I think that's it for now, thanks for checking it out and for any ideas you might have!
