A speedy mono-green deck designed predominantly for aggro playstyles, utilizing land destruction and recursion to its greater advantage. While this deck is capable of going infinite, this is not its ultimate goal. The fact that it can do so should only be looked to when peril appears to be imminent, which may happen in the event that you went too hard in the early-game of a multiplayer match and made a target of yourself.

Being that I am always open to recommendations, any suggestions on how to make the deck faster or more efficient would be immensely appreciated.

You May Enjoy This Deck If:

  • You fancy winning during Combat Phase.
  • You have no problem with your commander being not only the core engine of your deck, but also your primary winning condition.
  • You like addressing threats with a toolbox of hand-picked answers.

You May Dislike This Deck If:

  • You prefer winning games gradually and not through explosive plays.
  • You are not a fan of tutoring, filtering, or shuffling your deck.
  • You do not like relying on your commander.

Noteworthy Combos

Miscellaneous Combos

Infinite Combo: Elemental Generator

So this is how the stack works for this one. Activate Command Beacon -- the ability goes on the stack, then Titania, Protector of Argoth's trigger fires off. The stack now looks like (from top to bottom):

From here, you can either let the token resolve or not, it doesn't matter, all you have to do is make sure Titania, Protector of Argoth is in the command zone before Command Beacon fires off. So you exile Titania, Protector of Argoth with Food Chain , get in your mana pool, and use the replacement effect of commanders to instead put her into the command zone. Now the stack looks like this (assuming you did not wait for the token):

  • Add (creature-only) to your mana pool
  • 5/3 Green Elemental
  • Command Beacon's commander-to-hand ability

Titania, Protector of Argoth is now in the command zone, you get the mana to cast her (assuming no tax, and there isn't if you're playing her from your hand), a 5/3 Green Elemental, and then she's moved to your hand. Now you cast her, have left over (that can only be used on creatures), bring back Command Beacon, and start all over again -- creating 5/3 Green Elementals (and ) ad infinitum.

(Foil markings in this list are accurate.)

Updates Add

Swap Update:

The swaps above slow down the deck by a marginal degree, but remains measurable nonetheless. In my opinion though, they make the deck even more sustainable in multiplayer. As far as the plucks are concerned, there really is no logic behind the cards removed in relation to the cards added, short of the fact that they are the most expendable, however low-cost all of them are.

The Tireless Tracker and Inventors' Fair adds were influenced by CastleSiege's "Deforestation" list. It was not until this list was suggested to me that I even knew Inventors' Fair existed. This gives Tireless Tracker a degree of variability that made it a must-add to my deck.

For obvious reasons, I also added Dark Depths and Thespian's Stage from my now-deconstructed Ghoulcaller Gisa deck, "Bury Your Dead".
