I was first introduced to Magic during the Zendikar block but I didn't start playing until Innistrad. I've been addicted to this game ever since haha. Opening packs is like snorting cocaine >.<

Sarkhan420X 6 of the decks at the table were predominately blue. It would have made sense to shut out the majority of the decks that would have the majority of answers before they could do anything. Instead he chose to shut out one player. I'm glad I left that game because it was over an hour before that Iona was removed.

A few years back, I sat down to a 9 player commander game. I was the only person playing a mono-color deck, and I was also the only player playing green. The guy sitting across from me opted not to play a land on turn 1 and discarded Iona to hand size. Turn 2 he cast Reanimate, targeting Iona and chose green. THERE WERE SIX BLUE PLAYERS but he chose to be a jerk and completely shut one person out of the game. No one had any reason to get rid of Iona so I scooped to go play a game with another group. I've never been as salty about anything else in my life. I'm glad it's banned.

They're a 2cmc rock that enter untapped and produce 2 different colors of mana. They're just good.

Dang this thread is still going. I thought I put an end to it haha.

In all seriousness, the Eldrazi are probably the strongest creature type, both in lore and mechanically. For lore, just look at what they did to Zendikar and Innistrad. Their presence literally consumes all mana on the plane and warp everything, living or inanimate. Mechanically, just read the text on any of the Titans' cards. Even their drones are nothing to scoff at. They make token creatures that sacrifice for mana. Some interact with the Exile zone, which is a particularly rare mechanic for cards to have.

Obviously Slivers that are corrupted into Eldrazi Slivers by Emrakul's influence and then infected with Phyrexian oil.
