You can Splash a Lot of Others Couleurs to optimize your Deck.

for exemple Punishing Maverick with a Red Splash for the Punishing Fire and Grove of the Burnwillow Combo.

You can Splash blue and black for the goody Uncle Leovold

Or only Black for thoughseize in the Sideboard vs Combo and Control and Plague Engeniere vs Elvers, Gobos and the weenie stuff Like D&T
