Nin, the Pain Artist has found a strange new way to experiment... with hugs! This deck ramps quickly to build up Nin, a source of powerful political removal that removes problem creatures and is generous with draw. We get to hide behind janky group hug as we control the table and try to deck ourselves.

Nin is just 2 CMC but her activated ability gets expensive very quickly, so we're running a ton of artifact ramp. Less popular mana rocks like Mox Amber, Braid of Fire, and Thran Turbine are gems to us, along with staples like Sol Ring, Thought Vessel, and Thran Dynamo.

Nin is the most important card in our deck, so naturally she gets the best protection. You probably already know Swiftfoot Boots, Lightning Greaves, and Darksteel Plate, but we want even more. Pemmin's Aura, Vanishing, and Riptide Laboratory help us make sure Nin stays safe no matter what. Though Nin works perfectly well for removal, we need to draw cards too. With Darksteel Plate, Nin can experiment on herself! We also have Stuffy Doll, Toothy, Imaginary Friend, and The Locust God tokens.

We don't want to have to be paying 10+ mana into Nin to take out beaters, so we need to grease the wheels. Gorgon Flail, Gorgon's Head, and Basilisk Collar give Nin deathtouch, so removal costs just . Illusionist's Bracers and untapping effects like Freed from the Real let us activate Nin multiple times per turn. Karn, Silver Golem has the ability to animate troublesome artifacts to put them in Nin's range. We will often be faced with creatures that we simply must remove, but our opponents impudently protect them. Arcane Lighthouse, Detection Tower, and Glaring Spotlight erase hexproof and shroud, and Shadowspear beats indestructible for a paltry 1 mana.

Late game, Nin fights dirty with cards like Willbreaker, Charisma, and Dismiss into Dream. To protect ourselves, The Locust God gives us loads of flying blockers as we draw tons of cards each turn. It may take this deck some time to win, but we'll get there. Our wincon is of course Laboratory Maniac and Jace, Wielder of Mysteries. But no infinite combos! If we can't draw ourselves out the long way, Leveler eats our entire library in one fell swoop.
