Scion of Opulence

Creature — Vampire Noble

Whenever this or another nontoken Vampire you control dies (is put into the graveyard from the battlefield), create a Treasure token. (It's an artifact with ", Sacrifice this: Add one mana of any colour.")

, Sacrifice two artifacts: Exile the top card of your library. You may play that card this turn.

Wow those are some good questions let me do my best to answer them. Yes I have an integrated list so I enjoy having the ability to have the option to do either strategy in a game. A more dedicated list is going to be marginally better but because the storm strategy only needs you to play Mana Echoes and Phyrexian Altar you do not really do anything that negatively impacts the aggressive gameplan.

I have had no problems playing Urza's Saga in this list my mana base is very good even without all the dual lands (I only have scrubland) The way to see urza's saga is a very versatile tutor that gives access to mana in sol ring if you really need it or Skullclamp and Sensei's Divining Top which are excellent combo pieces.

Sorin, Imperious Bloodlord is good because my list has a few higher mana value vampires in the deck and cheating them into play is worth losing the vampire token in many cases. Additionally having the flexibility of gaining life and getting some attacking power or having a recurring removal spell are both quite good tools to have.

Scion of Opulence I have found actually carries it's weight very well. Helps out the storm lines if you do not have Phyrexian Altar yet by recouping colored mana in the storm lines. In aggro lines you can sac for mana in a pinch if you need to use a protection spell to save your board. A 3/1 body is also not bad for 3 mana to be aggressive with, and it is really great with Bloodghast so overall good card in my experience.

Signets are roughly as strong as talismans but the main advantage is that if you are going for the storm with just Mana Echoes and Skullclamp you can hit the signets off the draws and you can filter colorless off of Mana Echoes into more colored mana than what you get with the talismans.

Mavren Fein, Dusk Apostle is ok he is in a vampire flex slot and I will frequently cut him for access to different vampires, he doesn't trigger off tokens but you usually have a nontoken vampire that is attacking. Even though his stats aren't great you usually have a lot of lords and sac outlets you want to use so the bodies are useful for both those occasions

Right now would admit Butcher of Malakir is on this list for fun he probably isn't that good especially if you are curving out with an aggro strategy. Bloodline necromancer however is good because you have great ETBs that you can recur in this deck in Champion of Dusk and Malakir Bloodwitch.

Shared Animosity is very good and definitely playable I'm only not playing it because it is not useful if you are storming off. Idol of Oblivion is too slow, and if I need card draw I will get Necropotence or Skullclamp as much stronger options. Protection spells are definitely better in more aggressive list but I play reanimator spells because they are strong with both strategies. I can sac my board for value in storm and then bring all the creatures back to net value, and also mass reanimation lets me spend all of my mana every turn and does not require me to hold up mana if I am worried about a board wipe. Though again I think you want to play a critical mass of protection spells in aggro of 5-7.

Thanks for the input and was nice to be able to engage with you

Hello friend! I have some suggestions! I had way too much time today, so here you go.

Relatively cheap, potent, and just perfect upgrades.

This bit is, of course, focused on making as many treasures as your board can bear.

Great, now you have all of these treasures, now what are you going to do with them?

  • Frogmite, Lens Flare, Scale of Chiss-Goria, Tooth of Chiss-Goria, Mycosynth Golem, Slag Strider, Furnace Dragon, and Myr Enforcer are all notable cards you could add, since they pretty much become free after a while, though mostly pretty useless.

  • Forsworn Paladin is pretty good token generation early game, but really shines with the second ability where it can instantly punish anyone blocking or attacking you recklessly.

  • Marionette Master is going to pack a punch.

  • Dargo, the Shipwrecker is super cheap for a 7/5 with trample.

  • Enraged Giant, Freejam Regent, Battle at the Bridge, Saheeli's Directive, Herald of Anguish, and Organic Extinction are all pretty solid additions, since they don’t make you sacrifice anything in exchange for it.

  • Ruthless Technomancer has a million combos with (like Dockside Extortionist+sac outlet) and is just pretty good on its own.

  • Leonin Elder is just one life, but when you’re playing a treasure deck, that one life will definitely add up.

  • Underhanded Designs is a murder or a poke engine, which is very snazzy.

  • Glaze Fiend is pretty scary, considering that it has trample.

  • Dragonspark Reactor could be a bit of removal in your back pocket or your wincon.

  • Arcbound Crusher’s design team didn’t anticipate just how many artifacts I was planning on throwing onto the field.

  • Professional Face-Breaker is just like Grim Hireling, in that it makes treasure tokens, but more importantly, it gives you something else. You get a load of impulse draw, which is really nice when you have loads of mana.

  • Magda, Brazen Outlaw is just an artifact tutor, really. Though, there are plenty of treasure loving dragons you could also fish for. (:

  • Kalain, Reclusive Painter loves treasures, giving everyone big buffs.

  • Swashbuckler Extraordinaire can give anything that might be sensitive to dying double strike for a big final push. That, or just give one big boy double strike.

  • Their Number is Legion gets you lots of life and lots of tokens.

  • Necron Overlord is just a worse Ghirapur, but it’s still gonna hurt.

  • Street Urchin is the same idea as the above.

  • Armix, Filigree Thrasher could be some annoying removal, especially early game.

  • Hellkite Igniter is a big boy that, if left unblocked, could be a one hit kill.

  • Feedback Bolt is a big, powerful spell. To put it simply: ouch.

  • Fain, the Broker can make treasures, can make +1/+1’s, and can make little spooky boys. The best type of boys. Great utility and variety overall.

  • Rain of Riches is big. One cascading spell a turn, whichever one you want? Imagine dropping Feedback Bolt and cascading into Hellkite Igniter.

  • Captain Lannery Storm is innocent… Until you leave her unblocked like a dummy.

  • Concussive Bolt can be an easy kill, letting you get as much damage as you want through.

  • Dispense Justice is just like saying “Fuck your voltron.”

  • It seems you also like having and sacrificing constructs, so here’s a bit to let you do more of that, if you’d prefer to have a construct deck over a treasure token deck.

    • Shared Animosity will give constructs a boost, but there really isn’t a specific theme across creature types aside from that, and your constructs are better used for chump blocking or just turning them into scrap. Ignore this if you’re going for more of a construct tribal sort of thing.

    • Fable of the Mirror-Breaker  Flip is a good card, don’t get me wrong, but I don’t think it’s really necessary.

    • Rakdos Charm could be replaced with something better as far as artifact removal or graveyard hate. Nihil Spellbomb would be good graveyard hate and Generous Gift is just a good white staple.

    • Comet Storm is fun, but Crackle with Power is more fun.

    Hello! fun deck! Some Suggestions:
Captain Lannery Storm, not as powerful as other recommended cards but can be a powerhouse if used correctly
Descent into Avernus, considering the fact that you can utlize treasures better than your opponents, this could be very useful with its treasure creation
Gadrak, the Crown-Scourge, amazing card in any treasure deck
    Mahadi, Emporium Master, great value
Rain of Riches, cascading is an effect only printed on certain cards due to its power, imprinting cascade on to random cards is amazingly powerful
Scion of Opulence has some absurd value, not only because of the death triggers but because of the fact that with enough treasures you can play tons of cards off the top of your library with them.
In the end of the day this is your deck and these are my suggestions. Thought I'd give some advice though.
