Mishra is useless in EDH, as his ability does nothing, right? This deck would be better without Mishra, Artificer Prodigy and his "combos", but that is not the point. The point of the deck is to prove Mishra is not a useless (but a very fun!) commander.

There are three possible ways to make Mishra, Artificer Prodigy work:

1. Library Manipulation

You get to search your library for an artifact with the same name. Sure, you won't find anything, but you do get to shuffle your library every time you cast an artifact spell. Knowledge of the top card of your library allows you to shuffle bad cards away from the top.

2. Stealing Cards

The only way in EDH to get multiple copies of a single card (not permanent) is to use copies of an opponent. You do need to cast it for Mishra's ability to trigger.

3. Stack Manipulation

If you somehow move an artifact spell from the stack to your hand, graveyard or library before Mishra's ability resolves, you can search for the very same card and put it in play.

There are a few type of cards that work with Mishra's ability. These can be divided in three rough categories or game plans. Stealing cards could make for a janky steal-stuff-and-get-two-of-it deck, tax cards like Nether Void could make for a workshops-like stax deck, and the cast-a-bunch-of-stuff cards I included in this deck (Possibility Storm, Future Sight, Blood Funnel) work well with the storm archetype. I opted for storm because it's the archetype I enjoy most, but stax is definitely a viable option for Mishra.
The deck is an artifact-storm deck that mostly consists out of four types of cards: eggs, rocks, cost reducers and card draw (a few examples below). The deck wants to get a cost reducer in play, and play the eggs and rocks to cycle through the library. The draw creatures and Paradoxical Outcome will net enough cards so that you can keep going. Aetherflux Reservoir is a common way to convert the storm count into a win.

Eggs:

Rocks:

Cost Reducers:

Card Draw:

Aside from manual Aetherflux Reservoir storm, this deck can also win with the Dramatic Reversal + Isochron Scepter combo which produces infinite mana and storm count. Paradox Engine can be used instead of Dramatic Reversal, in which case any instant will do. Sensei's Divining Top can draw the library and aetherflux reservoir(kld) or Sculpting Steel on Isochron Scepter (imprinting a Swan Song) can then finish the game.
