Heavily WIP Kamigawan Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant Combo EDH. This list seeks to control the board, combo out, and get an insane amount of value out of our artifacts, instants, and sorceries. The harder it is for our opponents to play the game and have fun, the better. Deck is currently transitioning to a spellslinger / combo deck rather than including a splash of stax, unless I can get out some hard hitting, parity-breaking pieces early on.

Primer will be finished a bit after Neon Dynasty's release once this deck is more fine tuned and I'm (hopefully) less busy. Imagine^ could not be me. Mega busy. Apologies for no real primer.

In the early game, we have plenty of counterspells to slow down our opponents. The key is to not spam them, as fun as it is to have an entire hand of 2 cmc or less counterspells. Pick and choose wisely!

This deck has many cards for extra turns now. Will expand upon more in-depth combos later, but for now the TLDR can be "Why have one extra when you can take two, or three, or a lot more than that?"

Why Jin-Gitaxias?

Nothing in MTG comes close to my love for Phyrexia. Among the first characters I saw when learning of this game was Elesh Norn, and I was in awe with her design and the apparent wasteland that was her home plane. Hours of researching lore later, I bought my first deck; Breed Lethality, the 2016 Atraxa precon. Jin-Gitaxias is my favorite Praetor, due to a multitude of reasons varying from design, appearance or even character. My coworker and I have been heavily anticipating a new Jin (under the assumption it would be named Jin-Gitaxias, Reality Hacker) and when he was confirmed into the story beats we were ecstatic. I knew I wanted to build him right then and there, before we even got the card spoiled- and oh wow is this guy gonna be nasty.
