REWRITE IN PROGRESS!

Hey y’all, this is my take on Oketra. Of all the God-Eternals, Oketra is the one who perplexed me the most. She can be a powerhouse, but is fragile. Often times the deck struggles if she is removed, so I aimed to build it in a way that least depends on her ability to win. That being said, I veered away from the typical combos of Ornithopter/Memnite and Cloudstone Curio as these infinites take quite a few slots in the deck, quite a few pieces to assemble, and are mostly dead cards outside of the combo. All in all, they felt clumsy and too reliant on Oketra to keep.

Combat was always iffy, even though the 4/4 zombies are vigilant, they lack evasion, and white isn’t the best color to fix that. Archangel of Thune, and Akroma's Will help get a hoard of zombies through successfully, or make them gigantic (and act as protection in Akroma’s case), but I still felt I needed alternate, non-combat, win cons to rely on; Aetherflux Reservoir and Cloudstone Curio plus the myriad of cheap creatures means we can often gain obscene amounts of life. Soul Warden, Soul's Attendant, and Angelic Chorus speed up the life gain. Aetherflux Reservoir’s activated ability and Children of Korlis can be used together to knock multiple players out of the game once you hit 50+ life, maybe even a whole table if you have a way to recur it, such as Sun Titan, Reveillark, etc. In a similar vein, Bontu's Monument can drain the table and gain you a lot of life if left unchecked. I also have a bit of a pet thing with mill wins in EDH, and Altar of the Brood and Altar of Dementia (currently cut to test other cards) allow us that avenue as well.

I’m still tinkering with which win cons to keep, what’s most effective, and what may not pull it’s weight (i.e the mill line may get dropped soon for Auriok Champion and another lifegain win such as Felidar Sovereign or Test of Endurance).

There are a couple fun combos in the deck:

Kami of False Hope+Ranger-Captain of Eos+Mistveil Plains+Cloudstone Curio gives you a fog once per turn cycle for 5 mana. This has bought me time enough to find another win con on multiple occasions.

Oketra's Monument+Whitemane Lion+Phyrexian Altar can make infinite tokens with Oketra, orm produce infinite etb triggers. This could mean infinite life with Soul Warden or Soul's Attendant, or mill the table with Altar of the Brood.

This is the 4th in my cycle of God-Eternal deck. I look forward to any input, ideas, or advice.
