Dismanteled my Voltron-Atraxa deck and remade it into this more casual counters matters deck.

Update Sep 2025: At first this was meant to be a more casual deck that can go off (and boy can it go tall when it really wants to), but I wanted to make it a bit more optimized. Plus, after giving in for my temptations of buying not only Danny Pink but also Galadriel, Light of Valinor and Terrasymbiosis, I felt the deck truly deserves even more consistency.

What I realized, is that the deck was very, very reliant on Atraxa to be out on the field to be any sort of threat, as she was the only proliferate source. So main goal in my Sep 2025 upgrade, was to attempt to make the deck more self sustainable with more counters-providers and proliferate enablers.

For this, I had to make room by removing all my counterspells. While some may argue it is a bad choice to forego all counter-magic, I despise counterspells, and I dont need them in any of my other decks anyways, so removed them to get even more on-strategy cards.

All in all, with the changes, I hope this now will be a deck to be reckoned with, without being too strong. Since my Miirym, Voja and Xenagos decks are already crazy strong, I need more mid-tier and low-tier decks too.

One fun thing is that this deck is also filled with multiple commanders that can change the style of how this decks is played depending on the situation. Lulu, Stern Guardian can make opponents think twice before attacking me, considering I have several ways to proliferate and thus lock them down. Shadrix Silverquill can make it all more political. Zimone, Paradox Sculptor changes the game from going wide to going very tall very quickly. And finally,Galadriel, Light of Valinor is just.... just pure good-stuff-commander. Frankly, a card that is too good.

So Atraxa more complements the deck, rather than is super essential, which was my whole intention of the mass-upgrade and changes I have done this autumn 2025, essentially re-building the deck from the ground up compared to the first iteration from last autumn.
