Looks like a fun deck! Atraxa is certainly a powerful commander that can go in many directions but I like your choice of going w/ +1/+1 counters mainly. I think more cards like Winding Constrictor and Kami of Whispered Hopes would really make the deck hum. Corpsejack Menace and Conclave Mentor are good adds. I think some more effects to spread around counters more such as Good-Fortune Unicorn and Mikaeus, the Lunarch would help as well.

I think the deck could use some more cards that help w/ consistency and interaction as well. Abzan Charm and Inspiring Call both draw cards in addition to having other flexibility and +1/+1 counter synergy. Fertilid and Incubation Druid both ramp and care about +1/+1 counters. Lastly, Damning Verdict would be a good board wipe addition to clear out opponents' threats while leaving your board mostly intact.

Adding cards is easier than cutting cards. Here's my thoughts on cards that could go to make room for new ones. Venser, the Sojourner doesn't seem to do too much other than being ult-ed. Semester's End is good for saving your board but it resets any amount of counters you've built up back to 1. I don't think there's quite enough planeswalkers or non-creature spells to warrant running Ichormoon Gauntlet. Arcus Acolyte seems a bit slow. Empyrial Archangel doesn't seem to do a lot of work and can be difficult to get counters on because of the shroud.

I would also think about adding a few more basics to help ensure consistency. Good luck with the deck!

Thanks for the encouragement and I am glad that you are enjoying Giada! I did ave Mass Calcify in the original draft of the deck and it is a fun card. The high cmc made it so that I didn't love it because it took my turn to cast and slowed me down. I have thought about Damning Verdict and it is probably the best option for another one-sided board wipe in addition to Winds of Abandon. So far, however, I haven't usually wanted board wipes often, and targeted removal has always done the trick for me better than bigger plays. I'll slot Ondu Inversion  Flip into the mana base to have a second board wipe in a pinch, and to get an option to close out the game early in combination with Cosmic Intervention. That being said, if you're finding that you need another board wipe I think that you are correct that verdict is the best option.

Hi, I am working on a quite similar deck, got a lot of inspiration from you and wanted to thank you for all the effort and feedback!

Two cards I was considering:

Damning Verdict As we expect our angels to have at least on +1/+1 counter on them, this is in many cases a 5 Mana one-sided boardwipe.

Mass Calcify Used to be my alternative, but got cut in favor of Damning Verdict. Depending on the Meta, this can be superior, maybe keep it in the sideboard.

Update~ overhauled the mana base after playing a few games noticed without blink or sac effects its very hard to trigger lulu's ability so most of the dual lands that didnt have a forest or plains typing to them were cut to make room for fetches I could self trigger post combat. In addition Ajani, the Greathearted and Bow of Nylea were cut due to underperformance and replaced with Elemental Bond and Damning Verdict. The bow was cute, but all my creatures ended up so big the deathtouch never was relephant. and Ajani just kinda did what my commanders do naturally, but in a more underwhelming way.

Hey there, and kudos! You get an upvote from me. I just put together my own decklist for this command pair, and was here to look for ideas for myself. I haven't put a deck together properly in about two years, so I'm a bit rusty :) and like you, it's pretty theoretical for now. Your list looks quite a bit better than mine overall!

I tend to think Ajani, Adversary of Tyrants is the most efficient planeswalker here. With Lae'zel on the field, he's seven loyalty and four counters for four mana. And in an optimistic case where we actually get to pull off the ultimate, it is POWERFUL.

Also suggesting Damning Verdict, but in a particular way that I understand very well why you wouldn't want to include it. Just in case you hadn't considered it before.

Anyway, for my part I'll be scouring the cards you've included and I haven't and considering what swaps to make for myself here. Kudos again!

let me just reiterate your card choices aren't wrong. these suggestions are going to be because maybe we have different play styles or different metas. like i really try to keep my removal as flexible as possible and my +1/+1 counter deck is atraxa . Armorcraft Judge its unreliable and is a bad top deck. Avatar of the Resolute it just doesnt scale well to edh. Custodi Soulbinders paying 3 mana just to make a 1/1 is'nt very exciting. Fertilid ive used this one alot and in my games i almost never used it to ramp it was just a vanilla creature.

Return to Dust is just awkward i much pefer Heliod's Intervention. Ruinous Intrusion 4 mana to blow up 1 artifact or enchantment isn't worth it even if does give you a few counters. Lifecrafter's Bestiary with so few creatures its not great. with more creatures in here it could be great. Celestial Judgment there will be games where it will give you the win but there will be games where someone just has something huge out that this just misses or youll have to blow up more of your own stuff then an opponents Hour of Reckoning this is only good in a token deck.

some replacements creatures. Park Heights Maverick, Loyal Guardian, Forgotten Ancient, Walking Ballista, Pir, Imaginative Rascal, Steelbane Hydra, Evolution Sage, Conclave Mentor. non creatures Hardened Scales, Austere Command, Damning Verdict, Tome of Legends, Coalition Relic, Vastwood Surge
