Maybeboard

Bit of an experiment deck for me. Idea came from some seemingly nowhere one night and woke me up to put it down. Plenty of fun to be had in this one, though sequencing seems to be key for quickly ruining a game for everyone else. Still a work in progress as the idea is still new to me to shove these combos together with a back up win con of just simply beating down with fair creatures.

Win cons are pretty straight forward:

  1. - Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker or Splinter Twin combo.
  2. - Felidar Guardian plus Saheeli Rai combo.
  3. -Infinite mana plus Thrasios, Triton Hero via Devoted Druid and Vizier of Remedies combo. -(((Ending with card:Lab Maniac causing the auto win.)))-
  4. -Pretending to be a fair deck and using cards like Prime Speaker Vannifar and Birthing Pod to dig for protection for our cards or digging for combos to give up the charade.

This deck is very capable, in my opinion, to being tuned to your local meta. I've made the concession of putting in Rest in Peace due to a large number of Graveyard synergy decks in my local meta. (Also it turns on Eternal Scourge and Misthollow Griffin should they somehow end up in the graveyard.)

Other cards I'd suggest looking at swapping in to make the deck even more of a combo deck:

  • Recruiter of the Guard - This is redundancy for finding combo piece creatures, though it misses a few.
  • Breaching Hippocamp - Another creature to hit with pod or Vannifar (mainly her) to fuel a chain reaction. Also goes infinite with Kiki and Twin. Also Flash if it's stuck in your hand.
  • Sparring Mummy - Same as Hippocamp, just lacking flash.
  • Great Oak Guardian - Infinite tokens that are infinitely large... Pray you don't get hit with a card:Reflecting Palm
  • Bounding Krasis - Same as all the above, just a really good target while it also has Flash.
  • Karmic Guide - Great recursion, tutorable with both Guards, and it's a 5 drop that can be made into a 6 drop from podding it away. Serious value card as well.
  • Intruder Alarm - More of a stax like card than I'd like to play as deploying it at the wrong time can just slow a game way down. Awesome for comboing but will instantly put a target on your head.

Open to suggestions as the decks a touch unfocused at the moment. Mana base feels fine, not going to bother with original duals.
