1 Svogthos, the Restless Tomb

That's a good base. Take what works and replace what you don't like.

Exp. I've been playing iterations of this for years now and eight one drops are important. You need to start filling your gy ASAP. These are the two best. If you don't want to go into blue, there are cards like Gnawing Vermin but for me, m2 isn't enough. The -1/-1 is helpful so there is some leeway based on META. If I dabble in other colors, Shriekhorn is my go-to.

Satyr's spot can be removed but I play a low land count due to the two modal lands (Glasspool/Mammoth). Mire Triton is another favorite because Deathtouch and gainlfie. It's also a META call. I don't like others like Skull Prophet. If I were playing The Mycotyrant I'd consider it because it 'mills over time' (MOT) but once your opp sees what youre on theyd kill it before you get a chance to use it.

So, in this list I'm 12 goyfs. Eight can self-mill (SM) and the other is useful (Souls) in getting Wonder out of your hand. You can also sac Stitcher to it if you're a T1 Stitcher T2 Souls. Every card in this deck is a permanent besides Unearth so if you fetched at all, you could have a T2 6/6-8/8 Souls of the Lost and that aint to shabby.

I have always played at least 1-2 Nighthowler. It makes those Stitchers, Crabs, and Satyrs a threat and more often than not, takes two spells to kill it (when it's bestowed).

I view this deck as a sort of aggro deck and keeping with 99% creature theme, Grist and Brazen Borrower are my interaction. You can bring in whatever you want (obviously) but it's also provides fliers for Nighthowler, Grist has a built in win-con and protects itself. I always play a Boseiju, Who Endures and if I play more, -1 Unearth for Life from the Loam and if I'm really frisky, I'll add a few more legends, play more of the Channel Lands and another Life/Loam. I've got a oops all Channel lands were all the other lands are Modal and I play Amulet of Vigor with Shriekhorn and use Emry, Lurker of the Loch as a self-mill recur piece. It's fun.

Sidisi is a MOT that can help you go wide. Every time you mill, you get a zombie. I use this in near every build when I'm in color. I've tested Blossoming Tortoise but save that for a Mosswort Bridge version I play and if I can't get that going I want to be able to cast the top end. Shigeki, Jukai Visionary, Molderhulk, Aether Vial + Dryad Arbor help get me there. But just playing the new Squirming Emergence is so much easier than playing all those other cards.

You can find a way to bring in draw, life, other interaction, etc.. it's on you. There are times were I play Jace, the Perfected Mind or Visions of Beyond for draw. Spellstutter Sprite and a few spots for other faeries like Likeness Looter (flying faerie goyfs!).

But that's the base. Do what you want.. because you can literally do anything. I've got a junk list focused on recur with Unearth, Renegade Rallier, Necropanther, Athreos, God of Passage... a jund/grixis list that uses Ob Nixilis, the Adversary and Orcish Bowmasters (sac goyf to etb Ob Nix, Token Ob forces opp to draw 7 for -7 life. Bowmasters deals another 6 plus you get a 6/6 orc token (+2 more for paper Ob +1 if they can't discard). That's a 15 point swing, not including attacks. Another Grixis list that plays Kroxa, Flamewake Phoenix, Seasoned Pyromancer and Ox.

My favorite - game 1, I'm a mill deck that sideboard converts into self-mill game 2. It still deals with the gy but game 1 youre spell heavy and game 2 youre creature heavy.

Anyway, have fun.

Trapdoorspyder Well if I really need black mana there are already cards like Birds of Paradise Elves of Deep Shadow or Skull Prophet that I can use with Ooze's ability. But yeah Channeler Initiate may be good to have another combo piece besides Quillspike

I appreciate the suggestions! I do currently have one, Skull Prophet.

My thought process behind this deck is to mill your own library and play out of the graveyard. A lot of the cards don't ever get to make it into your hand, so it wouldn't make a ton of sense to put things in here that could not be gotten back. That's why there are only 5 non-creature non-land things.

That being said there are tons of creature based mana dorks out there, Arbor Elf, Llanowar Elves, Elvish Mystic, and even my all time favorite Incubation Druid. However I don't think that they would help further my goal of getting stuff in and out of the graveyard, or comboing with that. They could just as easily be replaced with a land, which would combo with other stuff in the deck, Centaur Vinecrasher, Eccentric Farmer, Turntimber Sower so I would be hesitant to cut more lands than I need to.

Lord of Extinction is a great card but Lhurgoyf is great too and a fifth of the price too. They both have their pros and cons, Lord of Extinction has a higher CMC and one more colors. Lhurgoyf toughness is equal to 1+ the number of cards, if my opponent exiles all graveyards that leaves him on the battlefield. If I decide to cut anything, it would be Creeping Dread and I would replace it with Lord of Extinction.

I look forward to hearing more of your suggestions!

A nice one for sure. Grim Flayer comes to mind as does Skull Prophet, and maybe something a few blocks earlier in Deathcap Cultivator. I see this as a "BG Rocks" disguised with RDW tropes. Then again, Vengevine is an option, and so is Hollow One while you're at it.

But, as a Jund build goes, with nods to some of my favorite MTG-correlated artists like John Avon, I enjoyed this read and enjoyed seeing you put out something fresh. +1!

*once again I fail to see you built this in pauper, #feelsbadman

It's expensive, but Jeweled Lotus is amazing in Muldrotha. You can fetch it with Urza's Saga and recur it.

Speaking of Sagas, they're amazing in muldrotha, I run The Cruelty of Gix, Binding the Old Gods, The Phasing of Zhalfir, Phyrexian Scriptures, and I am testing out The War in Heaven. Those probably would work better than Oblivion Stone.

38 lands is a bit high, you can probably get away with 34-35, even 33 if you're willing to invest in Mana Crypt and Mana Vault.

In my hands, Muldrotha has been running better as a combo cEDH list. I have tried to build it other ways and it was honestly either too slow or too samey to my Zegana and Miirym lists. I think combo would work better, Muldrotha loves self mill and that can act as a sort of turbo way to draw through your deck.

If you're wanting to stick to ramp, you're going to need to speed it up

A good ramp package I use in U/G and U/G/X lists, tweaked for Muldrotha:

1 drop: 1-3

Sol Ring

sometimes Birds of Paradise and other related mana guys

for Muldrotha: Expedition Map and Wayfarer's Bauble will do wonders

2 drop: ~6

Arcane Signet

Bloom Tender: I play this in almost every 3+ color list

Farseek

Three Visits

Nature's Lore

Muldrotha Specific: Sakura-Tribe Elder, Skull Prophet, Rootcoil Creeper

3 drop: 1-2

Uro, Titan of Nature's Wrath: hilarious to recur every turn

Cultivate, Harrow, Springbloom Druid are all good too

You will also want some more heavier hitters up top, generally, in ramp heavy decks I will run anywhere from 8 to 15 (depending on how well I ramp). I want to be able to have a big finisher and keep them going in Ramp lists (you can see these 2 to see what I mean: Nature's Revenge (not recognized by brackets for some reason) and Baby Dwagon Ehhhhhh?, both are very powerful and keep the pressure up, I rarely have an issue with either too many big guys and not enough ramp.

Sire of Stagnation

Toxrill, the Corrosive

Koma, Cosmos Serpent

I've been loving the ancient dragons

The other Jin-Gitaxias is also pretty potent

Here is my list if it helps give any ideas to help yours: The Circle of Life

Note:

Massacre Girl= Primaris Eliminator

Noxious Gearhulk= Necron Deathmark

The Eldest Reborn = The War in Heaven

I don't think I have put the combos down in the description yet but I can explain them if you want to know. Hope this helps!

Without Skull Prophet, this version is much slower at enabling delirium than version 3.3

Perhaps I should attempt a version that is black green but doesn't care about delirium.

I like Doom Whisperer quite a bit given enough life you can chuck usually about half your library into your graveyard while keeping essential cards on top. Otherwise some one time uses are Benefaction of Rhonas, Gather the Pack, and Commune with the Gods

Tomb Robber, Undercity Informer, Sanguine Spy are nice as they are also outlets for discard and sacrificing respectively.

For indiscriminate mill I use Splinterfright, Nyx Weaver, and Perpetual Timepiece.

If you are running creature heavy Altar of Dementia (Doubles as a win con) and if you run big creatures I like Greater Good.

Songs of the Damned, World Shaper, and Skull Prophet are usually an auto include for me if I'm chucking creatures into my graveyard.
