Shambling Ghast and Nested Shambler in for Hope of Ghirapur and Stonecoil Serpent. Shambling ghast is mana neutral with a free sac outlet thanks to making a treasure, and Nested Shambler leaves behind another body when it dies, for more sacrificing. Both are also zombies, which helps me to combo with Gravecrawler, and could technically work with Cryptbreaker to draw me cards, though that is pretty unlikely to comb together.

22NOV2021 Persistent Specimen in for Cryptbreaker. With more zombies for Gravecrawler, persistent specimen provides another combo piece, albeit more mana intensive than others, but it's single black mana to cast makes it better to cycle past than others like Reassembling Skeleton.

More active testing

I have decided to take some feedback I have been given and begin testing again. We have dropped the Qasali Ambushers', 1 Feline Sovereign, and 1 Sacred Cat. We have added in 1 Forest and 1 Plains, bringing us up to 22 lands. Ambushers' have been removed as they can sometimes too situational. I have replaced a Feline Sovereign with Regal Caracal as a finisher and higher end lord effect. So far testing has been good with this as a one of, especially now that we increased our land base. I took out one sacred cat and added in a Realmwalker. This has also been testing well and basically gives us a larger hand size by being able to cast creatures off the top of our deck. Will continue to update. :)

After playing 3 hastened Ulamog's Crusher in one single turn while playtesting, I decided that Torch Courier is the way to go

This was my first time running this list which is heavier on red cards. It's a new brew that we have been working on in the Discord channel. Matches: -2-0 vs Yorion Rhinos, -2-0 vs Burn, -2-0 vs Dredge, -2-0 vs Hammer Time, -2-1 vs Obosh Red, The key to most good tournament results is having good hands and dodging bad matchups, and luckily I was pretty fortunate with the former lol. The list felt very good, even though sometimes my mulligans were awful. Credit to Ashanti and DylanMTG for most of the ideas behind this version. Ashanti went 4-1 with the deck today, only losing to the mirror match -_-

• Breya's Apprentice for Fain, the Broker. I know I just put the apprentice in but I wasn’t really much of a fan. Fain does a lot. Thought I would try him out. Moved Breya's Apprentice to maybeboard

• Scute Swarm for Grim Tutor. I was looking at the foil alternate art that I pulled a while back and realized that it looked like the cookbook. Nevermind that it’s strong. I just want it in here for the art. I don’t really have ways to abuse the swarm but I do really like it. Moved Scute Swarm to maybeboard.

• Blightstep Pathway  ^Flip for Castle Embereth. I go wide. It’s a good pump effect if I need.

• Toxic Deluge for Disrupt Decorum. Toxic is just a nonbo with Gyome. So I switched it out with something more flavorful

Also I got a bunch of new foils!

Thanks for the comment DreadKhan! I replaced my basics recently with duels and forgot that Land Tax would not fetch them! I have a playgroup that is ok with restricted/banned cards so I will replace with a Fastbond. I appreciate the keen eye!

-Vindicate +Prismatic Ending Both serve a similar purpose. However, this deck is mana hungry as is and Vindicate always costing 3 mana is a bit much. Prismatic Ending is much more low to the ground and can solve bigger problems later if need be, as this deck is capable of producing all 5 colors. Losing the ability to hit lands hurts, but exiling instead of destroying is also nice. Plus, we have Wasteland to take care of problem lands now.

Ive decided to add Yorion, Sky Nomad after someone suggested it to me. This caused my deck to become one a little more expensive due to the addition of some hallowed fountains and the path to exiles. The cards I added are mainly cards with etb triggers that help when blinked and thats about it. Nvm Ive changed my mind 80 cards is a bit to much.

Played against Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis, Lathril, and Toski. Mayhem Devil kept Lathril deck in check, Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis supplied sacrifice pings on condition that it target the other two players to keep them in check. Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis played Village Bell Ringer on opponents turns end step and played Kiki Jiki when opponents were tapped out. Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis took first with everyone else being knocked out at the same time.

So, I probably should mention the deck got an overhaul over the past month or so and is a lot more competitive thanks to some help from people on the internet and a bit of research.

Next up are small tweaks. I'll likely want to get a copy of Painter's Servant and Vampiric TutorGC to add in. Probably can swap out Ogre Slumlord and Mimic Vat, since they're both too slow and aren't quite what the deck needs most of the time

Updated the deck, will add the available rates I have acquired. We have opened up the following booster boxes so far: Dominaria, Ikoria, Core set 2019, Ixalian, and Dragon's of Tarkir. We have opened some single packs of timespiral remastered, Theros: Beyond Death collector booster, some Throne of Eldrane, and a random Commander Legends pack. We did acquire an Innistrad: Midnight Hunt box that we are currently going through and plan on acquiring more boxes here soon. I will only update the relevant commons and uncommons I have.
