Aminatou, the Fateshifter has great synergy with Miracle spells and enters-the-battlefield (etb) effects. She can put Miracles back on top of your library to make sure you use them when you really need to. You can setup them too with recursion from Archaeomancer, especially Devastation Tide, since it will let you do it all over again, provided you have enough mana.

This decks strays from the blincking/flickering strategy to focus more on the wheels route. Howevever, we have two important targets for the flicker effect in Sorin Markov and Magister Sphinx as any of these two can set multiple players to 10 life points in a single turn. The sphinx can also beat with evasion, making it very important for the deck.

This is actually a combo deck with alternate wincons. The main way this deck wins is by setting up either Altar of the Brood or Corpse Knight along with an infinite enters-the-battlefield (EtB) loop. This always includes Aminatou, the Fateshifter and either Felidar Guardian or Spark Double. This results in you milling out each opponent or infinite direct damage.

There are three things you want to focus on in order to get to the combo finish:

1) Although not necessary, you may want to set up total hand disruption while refreshing your own hand. This keeps your opponents from responding to your setup while digging fast through the deck for the combo pieces.

This can be achieved by playing a wheel effect along one of the following permanents: Notion Thief, Narset, Parter of Veils or Alms Collector.

2) You may want to double-up on the card drawing by having Teferi's Ageless Insight or Alhammarret's Archive in play before casting a wheel effect.

The strenght of this version of the deck versus a blinking/flickering theme is that you are not reliant on always having Aminatou out. You only need her when you are going to combo off, thus making her much more resilient to Commander tax and direct attacks.

3) Miracles. You want to reset miracle spells on top of your deck with Aminatou's first ability or Brainstorm, so you may cast them for the reduced rate later. This is just added value and it is not something necessary in order to combo off, but it certainly helps you get there.

I'm still playtesting this brew, so it definitely may change a bit over time. So far, it has been extremely fun. It has many tricks under its sleeve and peo0le are never sure what to expect next. I think this is a pretty decent backbone for casual multiplayer fun. I'm considering replacing Merfolk Looter and Thought Courier for other defensive two-mana drops similar to Wall of Omens and Baleful Strix.
