Oath of Liliana Discussion

You are right about card draw, but I dont know if I put more tutors or raw card draw. I think I will try to get a Necropotence or use the Ancient Craving I already have.

Oath of Liliana works like a second Grasp of Fate in some matchups, it is mostly metadependent. Since I play 3 planeswalker it eventually puts a zombie token into play.

I am trying to make a deck that can slow down the entire table with answers for various problems. If the opponent plays a lot of tokens, I would place a Trespasser's Curse on him. If it storms out I would limit the number of spells casts per turn. If he uses a ton of graveyard I would exile his graveyard options. Then I would usually win with a critical mass of tokens. (I still dont have Bitterblossom and Luminarch Ascension)

I am still trying to get some of the discard enchantments that you use. But nobody in my playgroup or the near stores have them.

My main enemy in my Daxos deck is that sometimes takes a lot to find card drawi suggest to put more draw engines, black is good at that but not like blue or green that u can sac a creature and for 5+ cards in a turn
its Oath of Liliana useful? tell me more about the deck playstyle

I would personally put Teferi, Temporal Archmage for his neg 10 becuase of how useful it is for planswalkers abilities to be instants. I would aslo considier The Chain Veil so you can get planswalker rolling along faster. You might could aslo useOath of Nissa Oath of Gideon Oath of Jace Oath of Liliana and Oath of Ajani. I know you have a few sideboarded but they are quit usefull. You could also use Djeru, With Eyes Open to get a planswalker you need and keep them alive. Two more fetch planswalker spells areCall the Gatewatch and Deploy the Gatewatch. You can also use Contagion Engine Fuel for the Cause and Tezzeret's Gambit for extra proliferate. A good side board spell is Supreme Verdict. Sorry for the long comment hope this helps.

entheogeneral on my first super friend deck

I'm not a nice person but I want more people to be dicks to eachother by playing Superfriends. It really depends on your price range. I always find that blue and blue-multicolored really works for 'walkers, like Venser, the Sojourner, Tezzeret the Seeker ,Jace, Architect of Thought, Jace, Unraveler of Secrets, Tamiyo, the Moon Sage, Jace, the Mind Sculptor, and Narset Transcendent. Good blue support cards: Deepglow Skate, Cyclonic Rift, Thrummingbird,Tezzeret's Gambit, Inexorable Tide, and Atraxa, Praetors' Voice.

As for green and greenish planeswalkers: Nissa, Voice of Zendikar and Nissa, Vital Force and Nissa, Steward of Elements, Tamiyo, Field Researcher, Garruk Wildspeaker, maybe either Kiora, Ajani, Mentor of Heroes and Unyielding and Vengeant (the ones you already have), Xenagos, the Reveler, Vraska the Unseen, Sarkhan Vol, Garruk Relentless  Flip, Samut, the Tested, Oath of Nissa, and Primal Vigor.

As for White: Gideon of the Trials and Gideon Jura, Ajani Steadfast, any Elspeth, Oath of Gideon, Djeru, With Eyes Open and the other non-planeswalker white spells (which you seem to have covered), and Nahiri, the Harbinger.

As for Red: none of them. Fuck red. All the Chandras but the new one don't appeal to me and you should only splash red.

And last (but certainly not least); BLACK: Sorin Markov and Sorin, Lord of Innistrad, Kaya (if you wanna be bitchy), Sarkhan the Mad, Liliana of the Veil and Liliana Vess and Liliana, Death's Majesty, Ob Nixilis Reignited, Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas, Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver, Oath of Liliana, and that one black removel spell that proliferates.

And as for three colors and colorless: Karn Liberated, Ugin, the Spirit Dragon, Rings of Brighthearth, Contagion Engine, and maybe even Throne of Geth.

Sorry for how unorganized this is, don't give none. Good luck on pissing all your friends off until they get sick of you then you sell all the 'walkers and buy Eldrazi Tribal and they don't invite you to parties 'n all... And about your deck, my advice would be too follow the above suggestions and try to lower the mana-curve.

mr_funk on why just plainswalkers where are the swampwalkers?

my friend plays a variation of this sort of deck (without green) and it is very competitive. he has a ton of maindeck removal/disruption and that seems to hold him up against combo. to keep the green and round out the deck, i think making it more of an attrition sort of deck instead of token pumps. like for instance, if you cut the Intangible Virtues out, drop down to 2 Nissa, Voice of Zendikar, 2 Gideon, Ally of Zendikar, and swap the Voice of Resurgence to the SB, you can then maindeck some combination of Abrupt Decay, Fatal Push, Thoughtseize, Liliana of the Veil, Liliana, the Last Hope (the minus ability may just be a flop depending on creature count), Inquisition of Kozilek, or maybe even Elspeth, Sun's Champion. Elspeth Tirel may even be a useful SB option, albeit a little slow against the decks you actually want it for. other cards you can consider are Deploy the Gatewatch (if you added more PWs, something like 15-20+) and Elspeth, Knight-Errant. Theoretically, you could do a superfriends/token deck with deploy the gw and perhaps the Oath of Gideon, Oath of Liliana, and/or Oath of Ajani. Cool stuff, man. deck looks fun as is.

CasualCucumber on Queen's Zombie Horde

I am guessing this build maybe started from the intro pack (Just guessing), which actually made me love zombies :)

First of you can look at my Zombie deck for inspiration, sometimes it helps to see others builds.

I don't know if you are on a budget or you are going another route for your build, so feel free to say no to any of my suggestions.

First of i would probaly cut Oath of Liliana since you dont run any planeswalkers and i dont see it fit so well in.

You could run Tragic Slip.

When you are running zombie tribal like this you want lords to support them: Cemetery Reaper, Undead Warchief, Lord of the Undead. The more budget version is: Lord of the Accursed or if you feel like splashing blue in then Diregraf Captain.

In zombie decks you definetly want to run a number of copies of these two: Cryptbreaker and Diregraf Colossus.

Gray Merchant of Asphodel works wonders in mono black decks and it has the zombie tag.

If you're not on a budget definetly: Relentless Dead, Gravecrawler.
