Cast high-CMC spells on the cheap!

Cheating mana costs is an incredibly powerful ability, and Jodah lets us do it in all 5 colors.

I've intentionally created this deck to play less of the control game. To that end...I currently have no countermagic, and very limited instant speed interaction. I do have creatures that will interact with my opponents - cards like Void Winnower or any of the Phyrexian Praetors can play a very light stax game. But in this deck, I'm not playing any infinite combos or alternative win conditions. This deck just tries to play big giant scary things. If they get removed, I just play more.

And that's really the core of the deck. I play big crazy swingy nonsense that normally can't see much play, and put it together into a win. Eventually all the big scary things should be able to swing in for lethal.

Jodah himself has a massive target on his back...so I've created a deck that works better with him, but can run perfectly fine without him. I have a large number of redundant effects to help me ramp faster and cheat out even more big scary threats. Maelstrom Nexus, Omniscience, Maelstrom Archangel, Sunbird's Invocation, Fist of Suns, Maelstrom Wanderer, Rashmi, Eternities Crafter, Etali, THE Primal Storm, Selvala's Stampede can all help me cast a shocking number of spells in a single turn.

I couple this with ramp and mana doublers. Mana Reflection is particularly nice, especially with Selvala, Heart of the Wilds. The "in any combination of colors" clause on her mana ability is just awesome - with this deck I can commonly generate WUBRG 2-3x in a single turn, and I can do it shockingly fast.
