MurderForBrunch on Oath of Show and Heart! Temur Combo Control

Hi SufferFromEDHD! I just checked your list, pretty cool list as well. In this case, red adds wraths and removal mostly. I love Subterranean Tremors and also Etali, Primal Storm which are bonkers! :D

I did think of some of those cards, specially Sneak Attack and Selvala's Stampede being the cheaper ones (this deck does not have a ton of ramp). However, I opted for the dirtbag route, focusing a lot the ways of cheating big creatures and play more tutors. Actually, this deck has a lot of something I love, which is tutoring for the right tutor. Example: you Merchant Scroll into Bring to Light into Hypergenesis . Or you Merchant Scroll into Muddle the Mixture and transmute into Oath of Druids ! :D

That being said, I might still add Stampede, it's a really good card! I don't like that Sneak Attack exiles the creature in multiplayer. And Aminatou's Augury and Tooth and Nail are expesive manawise, but really good. I don't know!

I'm glad you liked the list and thanks a lot for commenting! :D

Yes! Solid Temur tempo suprise list. I have a very similar list Simic Turbo Eldrazi but red brings some fun tech.

Just some simple suggestions to fuel the strategy Sneak Attack , Selvala's Stampede , Aminatou's Augury , Tooth and Nail

+1 from a Jhoira lover. Great creature package

I noticed you like to have many ways to play your fatties so maybe you'd like Flood of Tears and Aminatou's Augury too

TypicalTimmy on Deck Archetype: Big Mana

I was watching THIS episode if Game Knights / Command Zone about budget decks, and at the 40:00 mark they begin talking about a budget deck Archetype called "Big Mana", in which you cheap out gigantic spells way before you normally would be able to. Thus includes both spells with insanely high CMC such as Aminatou's Augury or difficult to cast spells because of color requirements such as Conflux .

This different from traditional ramp because you are not focusing on land drops and mana acceleration so much as finding ways to cheat spells into play.

For example, a See the Unwritten could land you an Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger , especially if you put it on top of your library .

It's more about generating the biggest and most absolute value from your mana to put yourself much farther ahead than where you should reasonably be.

As for the definition, it could be alog the lines of:

  • Big Mana: A deck, primarily seen in EDH, where the player focuses on spells with very high and difficult mana costs with means to cheat these spells into play well ahead of curve. It focuses on tempo and ramp to achieve this goal.

I’ve only had a hand full of tests but the times ive gone off I had the thought I need a few cards to give me infinite hand size. So it’s not terrible by any means. I have it sorted if you change it to custom to show how everything breaks down.

Right now I’m trying to force in Coastal Piracy Aminatou's Augury Gush Thassa, God of the Sea and Sakashima's Student just trying to find the cuts. I might cut Karn's Temporal Sundering for the Temporal Mastery tho for that wicked miracle effect

If I’m being honest I’ve never see that card before. That’s a beauty if I can swing with X ninjas I can sink to control yuriko triggers.

Thanks for the suggestion, I’m wondering if I need more enchantments and fit in an Aminatou's Augury
