Maybeboard

At some point, it occurred to me that my favorite part of Magic: the Gathering is when it's my turn and I get to draw a card. I don't think I even really like playing, I just like looking at all my Magic cards. They're pretty!

On that note, this is the fifth iteration of my attempt to make the most competitive Jhoira deck possible. Aetherflux Reservoir and Laboratory Maniac are the two primary win conditions, though beating people to death with insects via The Locust God or burning everyone in the face with Reckless Fireweaver are also totally viable strategies.

In a perfect world, we'll be getting Jhoira out on turn 2-3 and then going off on turn 4-5. I haven't calculated the odds, but goldfishes rarely reach critical mass later than turn 7. It's not the fastest (I don't think), but our suite of counterspells, tutors, and disruption make it very consistent. This deck draws cards--lots of cards, so if drawing cards isn't for you, then look elsewhere.

Every 0-drop artifact is a cantrip. We have deliberately excluded cards that serve absolutely no functional purpose, so basically all the 0-drops can potentially do something that you would want, however minor it may be. Unless they're mana rocks that help you get your general out sooner, don't play any of them until you've cast Jhoira.

That's about it. Have fun!
