The idea of this deck is to cycle through for the Mirrodin Besieged combo, or if you can manage it, infinite turns so that you can pummel all the other players. Yes, this deck has banned cards, but there are many options for others in the sideboard. The group I play with don't really care about banned cards.

Maybe consider adding rings of brighthearth + scorched ruins + deserted temple combo.
