My take on the Daxos the Returned EDH deck.

Main Goal

• Bring out Daxos (This can even be optional really..)
• Play many enchantments, build a pillow fort, laugh at your opponents
• Get the combo, lose all your friends

Synergies and Such

• Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond: This is an infinite combo win con.

• Need moar? Cabal Coffers + Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth . Also, Serra's Sanctum will get you where you need to go!

• I can't express how important and amazing Necropotence + Solitary Confinement works for this deck. You can dig SO DEEP to find what you need, and you can be protected while you do it. Ideally, you have your fort built all around these two cards, and you just find your combo, and win. Remember, when you discard, try and discard enchantments that you don't necessarily need right away. Find yourself a Replenish and bring all the discards back in one fell swoop.

• 6 tutors to find what you need at that very moment.

• Standard removal spells. Doom Blade, Anguished Unmaking, Go for the Throat, Path to Exile, Swords to Plowshares, Utter End and the like.

• Need a pillow fort? Greater Auramancy + Karmic Justice = losing all your friends. Plus, Sphere of Safety can get out of hand for your opponents very quickly. Blind Obedience and Authority of the Consuls slows down opponents, gains you some life, and enables the combo with extort.

• Build that fort. Maximize your board state and lose all your friends. Ghostly Prison, Tainted Remedy, Sphere of Safety and Kambal, Consul of Allocation to get comfy under your pillows! Slam down that body pillow sized pillow known as Platinum Angel to slow your opponents down and force them to find a way to deal with it.

• Draw all the cards with Necropotence, Phyrexian Arena, and Mesa Enchantress. Oh, and drawing a card for and 2 life is nice. Erebos, God of the Dead is where it's at.

• Recurrence? Sure. Monk Idealist , Sun Titan, and Replenish got you covered.

• Bitterblossom is awesome. The 1 life is negligible in EDH, plus if you can land an early game Nyx-Fleece Ram you can laugh as you get a free 1/1 every turn.

• Don't forget the sneaky Dark Depths combo with Thespian's Stage!

• Blow up the board with your choice of sweepers! We have day of judgement ! We have Wrath of God! We have Fumigate ! We have all the destruction you need! Damnation for you! Terminus for you!

Another option for commander in this deck is Kambal, Consul of Allocation. The life gain is quite nice, and starts to stack up quicker than you'd imagine. Plus, you can pay more life for Necropotence. If you decide to use him, just have another orzhov removal spell ready to replace him, or something you think would fit. I usually sub in Unmake.
