Sliver Toolbox. Once it gets roots it is difficult to stop. I have been playing this deck in a variety of play groups and have been tweaking it over the last year. This was my first EDH deck I ever put together. After M15 released, it finally feels complete. I was introduced to this format by a friend that has also been playing since Alpha-Beta release. He got me hooked and I have been playing this format ever since.

Fetchlands and Painlands may be used instead of the Duals.

Favorite Win Cons:

Beatdown or General Damage,

Mana Echoes + Purphoros, God of the Forge + Sliver Queen

Basal Sliver + Purphoros, God of the Forge + Sliver Queen

Token Attack with Leeching Sliver in play

Exsanguinate (After tapping down all opponents mana with Telekinetic Sliver in play)

Strategy:

• Get Root Sliver ASAP against Blue or Control

• Crystalline Sliver to shroud the tribe

• Get 5 colors in play (Lands, Manaweft Sliver or Gemhide Sliver & other Sliver Friends)

• After Sliver Overlord is in play, keep 3 mana open for grabbing answers to threats when possible

• Get Quick Sliver to be able to respond to Targeting-Tucking-Other Surprises

• Ghostflame Sliver to evade Protection from Colors & All Is Dust

• Amoeboid Changeling for bouncing my non-sliver creatures or stealing opponents creatures

• Hibernation Sliver to remove Harmonic Sliver and other ETB enabling Slivers

Enchantments for going off (In order of preference):

1. Intruder Alarm (With Mana & Haste + 1-2 others)

2. Aluren (22 creatures to play for free)

3. Mana Echoes + Sliver Queen then decide if you want to draw your deck (Dormant Sliver), gain a ton of life (Darkheart Sliver), destroy opponents board (Harmonic Sliver) or (Necrotic Sliver), exile creatures (Constricting Sliver), etc...

4. Wild Pair (30 creatures with 1-1, 2-2. 3-3, or 7-7 Power-Toughness)

Responding to board threats:

Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite = Sliver Legion

Linvala, Keeper of Silence= Constricting Sliver (Fetch while on the stack)

Board Wipe = Sliver Hivelord, Frenetic Sliver, Hibernation Sliver, Pulmonic Sliver, Ghostway

Amoeboid Changeling (Non slivers become slivers)

Best Buds:

Venom Sliver & Striking Sliver (Not against First or Double Strike)

Venom Sliver & Quilled Sliver (For blocking First or Double Strike)

Sentinel Sliver & any tapping ability (Attack and then use ability)

Manaweft Sliver or Gemhide Sliver + Blur Sliver (Mana on tap)

Make 1v1 Legal? Remove -> Replace:

Sensei's Divining Top -> Sylvan Library

Vampiric Tutor -> Beseech the Queen
