This was my first EDH deck, and is still one of my favorites. I've learned a lot about Daretti, Scrap Savant and how to properly work with him, and am always looking to learn more. I try to keep my deck fairly budget friendly (the few obvious exceptions were much appreciated gifts).

With a planeswalker commander, my goal is to get Daretti out early and keep him safe so I can set up my board, to both keep him safer and to lay out my big hitters. I use a lot of artifact creatures for this, but also have a handful of dragons that help with the artifacts.

Things I'm working on right now are balancing my mana base, ways to keep my hand full of things to pitch with Daretti's +2 ability, and ways to keep Daretti safe (such as good boardwipes). The Maybeboard contains things that are on my shortlist of things I'm considering, and foil ones are cards that I have.

Above all else, I have fun with this deck, and I want to keep it that way.

Key Combos: Show

Note: Mirrorworks is a new addition, and honestly, it can probably be added to improve most of the combos below.

Infinite mana & tokens & untap artifacts: Dross Scorpion + Mimic Vat , a sac outlet (Ashnod's Altar or Krark-Clan Ironworks), and a token-producing creature (Myr Battlesphere, Precursor Golem, or even Myr Sire and Wurmcoil Engine can work). In a pinch, Clock of Omens can possibly work instead of the scorpion.

Infinite mana & untap: Basalt Monolith + Dross Scorpion + Pentavus . This can produce infinite tokens of whatever you want if Mimic Vat is also in play. Can use Dreamstone Hedron or Gilded Lotus in place of monolith here.

Infinite mana & untap: Mycosynth Golem + Myr Retriever + Junk Diver + Krark-Clan Ironworks/Ashnod's Altar. Produces Infinite mana on its own, as well as infinite ETB and Death triggers. If we add Dross Scorpion here, then we have infinite untap.

Once you have either of these going, you have access to the following:

Infinite RED mana: Have infinite untap from another combo above, and tap and untap Gilded Lotus, Great Furnace, Commander's Sphere, or Iron Myr . I'm sure you can figure out what to do with that.

Infinite Damage: Have infinite untap from another combo above, and tap and untap Staff of Nin all you want. Can also abuse Strionic Resonator on something like Scuttling Doom Engine.

Infinite Card Draw: Have infinite mana and untap from above, and keep copying Staff of Nin's triggered ability with Strionic Resonator at the beginning of your upkeep. Alternatively, use Resonator to copy either Solemn Simulacrum or Ichor Wellspring's triggered abilities.

Infinite Mill: Have infinite untap and abuse Codex Shredder.

Infinite Land fetching: (Well, not infinite, but you get the point.) Abuse Strionic Resonator on Solemn Simulacrum, or to a lesser degree, Mycosynth Wellspring or Pilgrim's Eye. Maybe use the ones in your hand to pitch to Daretti? Idk.

Infinite Graveyard Recursion: Abuse Strionic Resonator with Myr Retriever or Junk Diver to get all of your artifacts back to hand.

Infinite Tutor: Infinite tokens and untap lets you get everything you want with Kuldotha Forgemaster. Insert mad scientist laughter here.

Boardwipes: Darksteel Forge + Nevinyrral's Disk . Might kill a few of your creatures, but you can likely keep doing this every turn if you have Dross Scorpion or Clock of Omens out.

Infinite Mana means that Krark-Clan Ironworks + Spine of Ish Sah can clear the entire board.

Infinite Mana and untap means you can use Duplicant + Mimic Vat to clear away any creatures.

Alternatively, pump infinite mana into Steel Hellkite, Starstorm, or Earthquake. Be careful with that last one!
