Prossh

(Written for Prossh, needs a description update)

A quick rundown of the deck..

In typical Jund fashion, this deck is fast, hits hard and likes to be flashy. By looking at the "custom categories" sorting, we will see that this build has an decent amount of ramp and token generation. This is so that we can play our commander fast and have plenty of targets for his pump ability.

1. Ramp.

Simply put, play down some low-costing green creatures or spells to unlock the true potential of our deck. Cards like Nature's Lore, Awakening Zone and Birds of Paradise are all great to have in the early game.

2. Putting the Pieces into Place.

Tokens are what make this deck menacing (without actually having menace), lets extend their use with cards like Ashnod's Altar, Skullclamp or Parallel Lives. It's also handy to have a card like Reaper of the Wilds so that we can get to the cards that we need to move onto step 3.

3. Quick Wins.

Prossh is often considered one of the best commanders ever and this build is geared towards the power level of my pod. So even with this more casual-oriented build, I have tried to create a variety of different ways to win with Prossh. Most of which utilize tokens and/or Prossh's pump ability:

  1. The fastest and most efficient way to kill opponents is attack with Prossh while you control at least 6 other creatures, wait for blocks. If no blocks, cast a card that gives double strike such as Temur Battle Rage targeting Prossh and, if it resolves, respond to it by sacrificing 6 creatures. This will make Prossh a 11/5 with double strike, dealing a lethal 22 commander damage.

  2. General overrun with Craterhoof Behemoth or Beastmaster Ascension, making our tokens much stronger. Usually having enough damage to take care of opponents.

  3. Burn with creatures entering the battlefield or dying (if we have a sac outlet): Impact Tremors, Purphoros, God of the Forge or Zulaport Cutthroat. Very efficient when combined with Parallel Lives or Primal Vigor.

  4. Prossh and Food Chain combo. Creates infinite mana and 0/1 creatures, infinite damage with Impact Tremors, Purphoros, God of the Forge, Zulaport Cutthroat or Goblin Bombardment.
